Yeah, it ends up just being a 'win more' card, outside of extremely specific situations (situations so specific any number of cards could also have such specific good board/hand states).
Why no coldlight oracles? The naxx cards don't seem to add anything to the murloc synergy, to be honest.
I've played quite a lot of Murloc, and I think that 2x soulfire and 2x doomguard is just too risky. I would drop a soulfire for a shadowflame, as tech for the aggro mirror.
Howdy Folks! I've created a quality type of deck. It's a rather straight forward deck, with a couple of tricks like duplicate, ragnaros, and faceless manipulator. I've played a couple games with it where I've had about 4 Ragnaros cards. It's sort of hilarious to watch your opponent rage haha.
First, you should try using Hearthpwn's deckbuilder tool to post your decks. They end up being much easier to read (for most people, at least).
As for your deck, it looks like a "good cards" deck with a lot of one offs. It doesn't seem to have any consistent strategy (one isn't always needed, though), and it indeed won't be consistent with so many one-of cards. An extra loot hoarder and double arcane intellects would definitely make things a bit more consistent (especially since this deck looks like it wants to go into the long game, where arcane intellects are somewhat better).
I have had great success with aggro mage so far this season (strong against everything but priest, it seems; although I had a pretty epic win streak yesterday, crushing many priest underfoot). It can be a bit swingy if you don't get a good opening, but that can be mitigated by proper mulliganing.
Webspinner will be spurned in constructed but played in arena for the time being. In 6 to 18 months someone will figure out how to use it in constructed. This is my prediction.
Exactly. Also, since I believe your oldest played creature will be the one duplicated after a board clear, this increases the skill necessary to play the card (which I think is fitting for mage).
My Ethereal Secrets deck could really use this, although this is not as good as people think. It's kind of like a wonky, delayed Arcane Intellect. This would only be OP if secrets still triggered on your turn.
In my latest version of this deck I actually move towards more AoE (Fleiva does the opposite); I'm going to do some experimentation both ways and see what happens.
In theory, this version has more minions than mine so the Defender could work. I would consider an Abomination in a less minion heavy version.

Correct.

I used to play murlocs a lot, so I have a question... why no Doomguards? I always found them a great finisher.

This seems to have no affiliation with the old Quantic gaming?

I suspect Kirin Tor Mage + Duplicate will be quite good and be run in mage decks which have enough other secrets.

Totally agree, given the deathrattle theme of Nax. Hoping to see some new silence cards in that set as well.
