This is virtually impossible now. In order to beat him, you have to be at least 2 minions up on him pretty much all the time, which wouldn't be a problem, except once you hit turns 4-5 he'll just start sniping whatever is on the left. Once he's up on you by one minion, and you don't have two in your hand that you can play on the very next turn, you may as well restart. It ain't happening.
As an aside, I'd love to challenge ANY Blizzard Hearthstone employee to beat this, on Heroic, and record the match, along with the number of attempts it took. I'd be very curious to see what the result is.
Not bad. Took some getting used to, but once I had the hang of it I was good. 3rd game win, by a landslide. The deck was enjoyable enough to play that I decided to run a couple of more matches for fun. Watch for the discard combo, and be careful not to crowd your board, as you could end up not being able to play anything and burning cards (don't be afraid to make trades). Both Possessed Villager and Voidwalker make for excellent first-turn plays, and Forbidden Ritual is a great backup plan for late game. Plays well with Lady Nazj'ar's ability, with lots of 2-for-1 minions to catch you up if she gets ahead of you on board control. Take your time with this deck; it's definitely a thinker.
Great deck! Just wanted to chime in and say that this deck worked like a charm, 1st try. And just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, I went ahead and beat him again, for 2 in a row. So ignore the haters saying this deck doesn't work, because it very much does so. If you find yourself losing the first time you dance with Nefarian, don't give up. Restart and give it another go.
Thanks for write up early Doomguard won it for me a few times also totally depends on RNG but i had enough fun with this deck/boss i also kept re fighting haha!
