I want to try for Legend this season. For now I think I'll have plenty of time, but it remains to be seen. Not sure if I try in Wild or Standard though.
I tried last month, but only got to rank 7 before getting tilted and dropping back to 9. I'm going to get two lists, one for Standard and one for Wild and see where I advance the fastest in the first few days and go from there.
I haven't played ESL in a while. I liked it when I played, but I had trouble remembering the card names which to me a is a bit of a problem. I have to try it again now, though I probably am quite behind now.
I was able to get into the closed beta for Gwent...now that is a game that is going to be great. Cards are all easy to remember and RNG is very small. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. There are balance issues, but it's expected. Also have to see how they are going to implement ladder and so on.
Bad nerf. This accomplishes exactly zero. Knife Juggler is not played for the 3 attack. It almost always dies before getting an attack in. It's the effect that is too powerful.
This is not as good as people are predicting. To get good value, you have to guarantee that the card it pulls will be a high stated minion. Most decks will have some low mana cost stuff still in the deck. So this needs to be played in spell heavy decks. What needs to be seen though is what's going to happen with Big Game Hunter. If that gets a significant nerf, then clearing a 10/10 body becomes very difficult for a few classes. It might see play just based on that. Time will tell.
Actually, apparently Blizzard is only giving the card right before the streamer is supposed to announce it. At least, that's what I understood from Trump. He said he doesn't have his card yet.
Kinda late to this party, but I decided to keep playing and see where I end up. I managed to climb a couple of ranks today and now I'm on 8. Doubt that I can reach Legend, but hopefully at least rank 5. I'm taking the opportunity to learn Patron Warrior. It seems to be in a really good place in the meta right now.
Patron is probably good in the meta but in my experience the last days of the season are wild west so the meta could be anything :-)
But I don't think you can go wrong with Patron for one more season before standard hits.
I'm fully aware of that. But my goal will be to just learn the deck for next season. My win rate so far is an insane 80% so I'll see where that leads me. Only class I seem to have problems right now is Mage. But I hit two control mages in a row last night o_O
Hey guys please help me. I recently made a Phrophet of Velen. I need help making a deck that can get me pretty high in the ladder. I DO NOT HAVE ANY ADVENTURES!!! Please reply to this with a deck list with a good deck. I have 2 legendaries nexus champion sarad and Velen. I can craft any cards that are purple and below thanks for the help.
Why would you craft Prophet Velen? I hate to tell you, but that's the worst Priest legendary. You were actually better off just making a neutral like Justicar Trueheart if you are set on playing Priest.

I've been thinking about this card and the more I think about it the less I like it. I'm just not seeing the hype. It's very clunky and slow, and it doesn't further your game plan at all. You can't even play this on turn 10 and hope that King Krush saves you, since you are only left with 7 mana. On top of that, you don't want to draw this on turn 3 and you also don't want to play this on turn 6 together with Unleash the Hounds. It's such a weak play as you are basically handing the board back. If this effect was so good, people would be playing Ball of Spiders all the time. And that card hasn't seen play ever.
Of course, if you only analyze it from the stand point of you already having the board, then it might work. But in that case, it's just a win more card. You can say that it'll help replenish your hand after a board clear all you want. Come back to me when you get The Beast, Stonetusk Boar and Silverback Patriarch out of it.
It's an interesting card, but also disappointing. Adding random beasts to your hand is only good selectively. The only real good use of that mechanic was Webspinner since at worst you got a replacement for it. That's not the card draw that I wanted to see for Hunter.

Collector's Edition AFAIK. I doubt that though.

I'm more anxious than excited now. Seeing all these cards and not being able to try decks with them feels pretty bad :(

Strong card. If Blizzard is indeed pushing for a beast Druid archetype, this will definitely see play. Turn 2, play a beast(River Crocolisk, Bloodfen Raptor, Huge Toad), Innervate and Mark of Y'Shaarj. You get a 4/5 or 5/4 and draw card. Pretty good.
