I haven't seriously been invested in HS since maybe Boomsday, but have still played it maybe 3-4 times a week out of habit. However, recently that's been cut down to maybe 2-3 Battleground games a week, and if I can be bothered, just enough games to cover my quests.
I don't know exactly what killed my spirit, but I do know it does have to do with just how little you can do if you don't spend $$, and the less you play, the further behind you are and you are basically relegated to playing Tier 3/4 decks if you can scrap one together, or maybe one good Tier 1/2 deck if you spend all your dust on it.
Most of the problems are just inherent with most TCGs, which require you almost to be constantly involved and constantly spending $ to keep your collection up to date, and I just can't keep up anymore it seems. Net decks and broken mechanics are a symptom, but that's just a human issue in any game, if we can optimize the shit out of anything, we will.
Emotionally, I feel for the HearthPwn Staff and will likely go to Outof.cards just to help support and grow that site. However, I don't fault the heartless fucks who decide to stick around HearthPwn, because it is established and familiar and a pretty decent site.
They will likely jump ship anyway if the new owners are not passionate and are just in it to squeeze out as much money as they can from the site.
This mild-mannered Scarlet Crusader ensures that your deck retains that nice healthy PUREstatus that it came with. While aimed at Bomb Warrior in the current meta, this also can be used in a multitude of ways, to include removing those pesky Weasels from Priest for example!
NEXT: Make Pogo Hopper Rogue Great by giving it a nice card to help support it!
Next: A card that interacts with Lackeys (but doesn't generate them itself)
Everyone's favorite Gelatinous-Based Friend is back! Or at least this time, his son! This guy isn't strong enough to eat real minions, so he diets on Lackeys only right now! The only change I might make is to make him Neutral instead of Warlock based, I don't think this card would be broken if it was made neutral instead of Warlock only, because Lackey's only exist in certain classes anyways.
NEXT: Create a new Villian card for the most nefarious, most evil, most dastardly villain in Hearthstone history: Millhouse Manastorm!
In the time after plagues, my magic replaced science. - After Naxx rotated, Secret Mage lost Mad Scientist and often replaced it with this card.
I can keep a secret easily, just play me and see. - Straightforward, Play this card and put out a secret for free!
But a recipe unique, you can read off me! - The flavor text of this card is a pun on how to make Dalaran Float, 2 scoops of Ice Cream and 1 Scoop Dalaran!
I work in the daylight, but not all the time I live in the shadows as a place to hide Daggers I hold, slicing with two Minions I slaughter and I give back to you
Forgot Rarity, probably fits best as a rare, definitely intended to be able to run 2 of these guys. Like Kobold Barbarian, this is overstatted with a downside, which is the inability/forced attack. I think overall the power would make this an include in a lot of control/defensive decks.

I don't know if Jan'alai will make the cut into Tier 1 decks, but I can definitely see a Tier 2/3 deck make it easy with it in it.

EDIT: My last hint is super obscure, so I'll add a hint to a hint. What makes a recipe good? It's in the flavor of course!
