posted a message on How to improve my self?

Hearthstone is a game that's so situational that there isn't a guaranteed way to help u improve ur game. But there are somethings that u should try to do.

1.) card drafts, always consider which card has the best potential to synergize with your deck, if u can't, just try to get the card which is strong on its own such as Pilotted Shredder, Yeti, etc. Arena is all about tempo, well, mostly. Try to get some good amounts of strong 2 drops, because it helps u stabilize the early board presence and help u keep initiation. Unless u run into skillstrike, or else u normally would bag the victory.

2.) Value board presence, if u can keep more minions alive while trade successfully, I'd suggest u do it. But whilst u do this, try to think about what the opponent might be able to answer. If it's a Druid, u can think about trading low health minions in to dodge swipe on turn 4. Always keep in mind what ur opponent might have or might not have. If it's a Mage, well, it's really hard to play around skillstrike, so if you have board advantage, keep some minions in ur hand, don't go all out. Because it's harder to top deck in arena than ladder.

3.) If RNGesus is not on your side this time, move on and keep drafting cards with care, keep trading with care, look out for the best solution. Not asking u to rope, but if roping helps u think it through, hey, it's ur turn u can spend it however u want.

It sucks when frost nova doesn't always come when it's needed with doomsayer. It's really hard to clear board without explosive sheep. Maybe there's a spot for it in this deck?

posted a message on Warsong Commander Nerf Incoming

I'm glad Blizzard is taking a nerfing approach. But for gods sake first, ur nerfing the wrong card, second ur nerfing the wrong threat when there's Doctor 6 and divine favor out there for Paladins. Holy Jesus lord, play ur own damn game before you want to change a whole archetype. Stop having your own meeting in a room with AC to decide to fuck up ur games and customers. Look what what uve done to WoW, please, stop spending ur time fixing ur own mistakes by making another mistake.

posted a message on Crafting when you aim for a full collection?

To be honest, I think after crafting those cards they can help you increase your winrate. Higher win rate = More golds gained in shorter time. So I'd say they are worth crafting. Especially AoL

@Tsubalachi:  thanks for your very thoughtful response.  I considered trying to do a slow wean/taper, but I'm not likely to have much success with that approach.  Will probably try cold turkey first and see what happens.  Hopefully not DTs.  :-)

In ur case I doubt cold turkey would be as effective as progressive method tho. The withdrawal symptoms will eat at u and thats not good especially when ur working Full time. If I were you, id go for a softer touch. I quit something before, progressive worked better on me so that's why I stick with it.

I think that you should go and see a Psychiatrist.

This is more of a clinical psychologist field instead of Psychiatrist.

Cold turkey is one of the best ways to treat this, but do not forget to get something else on your hand when ur hands get real itchy. I highly recommend you to get a flip phone and stop using your smart phone by either locking it up or letting someone else hold it for you until u can feel comfortable without Hearthstone.

Another method is by setting up a progressive goal each day until you can "live" without it. Lets say, the first week, u try to limit your game play only at home, wait until you're comfortable with that play time then u limit your game play only at night, then 3 hours, then 2, then 1. When you gain full control of your body from Hearthstone, u should be able to enjoy the game again.

I am not asking you to quit, I'm simply asking you to try to enjoy the game by reducing your play time thus reduce the the dopamine reward pathway continuously signaling you to play it. Your brain cell can naturally adapt what you give them. Give it less Hearthstone, a little bit more other things, I'm sure u will be back.

    Sincerely Yours,

    Tsubalachi

P.S. how the fuck did this just happen lol.

posted a message on Mill Vendor Machine Rogue

Hello guys, I created this Mill Rogue a while back but I decided to add some more information beside the deck before I advertise it on forum. So here it is, i aim at helping those who has never played Mill before and giving them a brand new experience of Hearthstone. If you are willing to help such as adding other unique tips u have from playing Mill, please leave ur comment down here and tell me u are willing to share this information under my deck such and such.

I added Refreshment Vendor to increase my survivability and help me with my early game. It's not a whole new Mill deck, but it's a revision of mine.

posted a message on Is HEARTHSTONE more Free-to-play? Or MORE Pay-to-win?

I don't see how this conversation has been going on for so long when it's so obvious that this game is Free-To-Play and Pay-To-Win if u want to climb up high. For a casual player it's seriously a F2p, not every one has the money to spend on card games like me. For a competitive players (notice the word competitive not professional), Pay-To-Win is definitely the option for them, there are cards with unique effects that have to be obtained to help them climb the ladder, such as Dr. Balanced, Mysterious Challenger, Cabal, Tirion, Mountain Giant and so on. U can't rely on opening packs each day and pray RNG lord to give u "exactly" what u want from the packs.

Long words short: F2P if u want it to be F2P, P2W if u want it to be P2W. No one needs any one else's opinion. It's you and your own decision.
