The awful money hungry microtransaction model has ruined this game for me to the point where i just don't enjoy playing it anymore.

    Makes me sad. :(

Umm... Why is the main goal suddenly to get everything? If that's the case, lets vomit some more data shall we?

League of legends - all skins and champs as of February 2015 = $3900 USD

Did you just honestly ask why people would want a complete game?
F2P Microtransaction games are designed at the core to take advantage of you and to test your patience so you spend money like a gambling addict. This is not something that happens by accident, the game is designed from the ground up to be this way.
The only reason this game is "free" is because they make more money in the long run from addicts than by actually charging a set fee for the game.
No game could get away by charging 3.9k to get every skin and playable character but they do by starting "free"

What are you on about? This is a free to play game. You want them to give you money to play it? If you can't make enough gold, e.g. in arena, to get all the cards, and don't even have the money spare to purchase some packs, then perhaps you should take a close look at working on other things in life rather than HS. And to poster above who states thousands for packs: nonsense, get your facts and calculus straight before making such ridicule statements.

Human 'intellect' never ceases to amaze me...

    * You need around 550 packs to reliably get a full collection. This will cost you a little under $700 in cash, or around 500-1000 hours depending on your playstyle.
This is before TGT was released btw,you were saying?
You're the dimwit here that don't understand freemium game mechanics,i suggest you start at least with the episode South Park made on it to educate yourself.

The sheer fact that this game is free is a deal in itself.

Yes because the game being free but costing thousands in packs to get everything is such an amazing deal when we could pay a set fee of say,50$ and get everything instead.

posted a message on This game has become the worst....

Squelch when you start the game and just concede when you lost a match, trust me it makes the game much more enjoyable.

When i played MTG in the real when i was younger, being an asshole would make people not play with you or do trades even might get you banned so nobody would do it so i do understand your point but this is the internet, things are different. I do wish we had an auto-squelch option tho.

Now with the upcoming release of the Explorers League, it will become very difficult for newer players to indulge themselves full into  the gameplay. ive gone over this topic before, and i still believe that naxx should be made free now.

It is free man. Just save up your in-game gold.
The "free" part of Heartstone is intentionally DESIGNED to be grindy and mentally exhausting to make you spend real money, similar to games you see on facebook.

    1. It's is not fair to people who already bought it

This is so stupid on so many levels, when you buy a full priced game for 70$ do you complain that it's not fair when the price drops and eventually end up in the 5$ bargain bin? No,because you got it when it came out and the value simply dropped over time with new stuff coming out.

    2.  I got the last 2 adventures for free. Just get 100 gold a day it is very easy, just play a little bit, in 7 days you have one wing in 28 days you have the adventure

An entire month of hardcore playing just to get an adventure and there's 3 now. That's without getting any packs or playing Arena. You realize how much of a time sink that is? At the very least it should get a price drop because 20$ for an Adventure and 10$ (!!) for a skin is ridiculous.

    3. Adventures > Packs why? because you know what your getting not a bunch of repeat commons

Depends. You're still sacrificing 35 packs for Zombie Chow,Haunted Creeper and Loatheb.

They should but this is Activision we are talking about.

They don't really have to anyway, just look at the fanboys that keep defending Heartstone Pay 2 Win microtransactions.

All Blizzard care about is money, which is the main reason i stopped playing this game.

Undertaker was only fixed when Goblin vs Gnomes was released, they knew the card was broken but fixing it while Naxx was the newest expansion would have affected sales by making one of the card you can get worthless.

Warsong Commander was the same thing, fixing it while Blackrock Mountain was the newest expansion would have killed sales since it kills Grim Patron.

Not only that but they have showed again and again that they have zero creativity and always end up killing cards instead of fixing them.

posted a message on The current state of Hearthstone and newer players.

Arena is the only viable mode for F2P. You can make an account on all 3 servers,do daily's and actually enjoy yourself.

This would not be a problem if greedy Blizzard charged a set fee for the game and a more reasonable fee for expansion's.

People defending corporations for the dumb things they do are the worst.

"Other cards game do it" Has to be the dumbest argument of them all, yes, because others do something stupid everyone else has to make the same mistakes instead of learning from it right? -_-

I pay for the game and cards,i would like something more than a "patch" to a bad card. The common slot is important since you get alot of them by opening packs.

You know what i find boring? Losing to a heavy epic and legendary cards control deck because he spent more money than me and was luckier from packs.

Aggro decks do well, are cheap and fun. If i want fair and not pay2win i go play arena or tavern brawl.
