I recently signed up for the GoodGaming 10k tournament only to receive an email today saying that anyone from my state (Arizona) was restricted from joining in their tournament. I also see that the Hearthstone World Championship restricted Arizona and several other states as well, and that the Blizzard tournament hosting guide has a disclaimer about the same states. Why are these states restricted and does this mean that I can't participate in any hearthstone/blizzard related tournaments at all?
This is really distressing because I was hoping to start playing both Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm a little more competitively, but if I'm already banned because of my state that's kind of bullshit.
These cards seem like crazy good value when in a mech themed deck. I can't really put a finger on what class should play them though, maybe pally or mage... Just wondering if anyone has put together a solid deck with them yet.
There are plenty of legendary neutrals without pre reqs though. I feel like epics are made to fill a specific purpose, while legendary and class cards are just plain good.
Lost 3 games with ramp druid, 4 games with weapon warrior, 3 games with miracle rogue and now I'm stinking up arena. Went from from 6 back down to almost 9... Just can't catch a break. Even losing to terrible decks that mine should counter like priests/paladins.
I'm really not sure what everyone is freaking out about. Have you never played a CCG? A booster box of MTG cards is usually $90 and 75% of those cards are worthless commons. At least here you're guaranteed 5 legendaries. How many packs have you already bought and not gotten 5 legendaries.
The average ratio is about 20 packs per legendary, so $90 for 5, plus a few rares/class cards, doesn't seem that ridiculous. Also, they are offering the option to pay with gold that can be earned free by simply playing the game. I've already made 500 gold in the last 3 days, so 5000 isn't some crazy huge amount, especially if it's over the course of a month. People just need to stop being cheap and expecting everything for free. They are providing you with a service, they have to cover their expenses somewhere.
Just lost 3 in a row with Ramp and 1 with miracle rogue. 2 of my Ramp losses were against Miracle rogues ironically, and both losses were due to me making my DOC taunt instead of charge.
I simply can't deal with handlocks, I'm probably playing wrong. I usually dominate them until they're at around 10 life and they they drop 2-3 giants and/or a faceless and nuke down my creatures before I can finish them off.
How are people doing against miracle rouge with their ramp druids ? I'm really struggling against them and i'm kind of stuck at rank 8 right now.
What can be done to a ramp deck to improve vs miracle rouge ? I feel there are a lot less zoo now than before also.
Hmmm...I haven't had any problems with Miracle Rogue yet. The only one I lost to was a turn 10 malygos into 25 damage. I've found that rushing them works the best. Take out SI agents with wrath/keepers and save starfall/swipe for Auctioneer. Use charge form with claws. They can't really do anything until turn 6-7 if they actually want to get anything out of their Auctioneer, and if you force them to use eviscerate early, they run out of steam even if they pull out some combos.
So I tried using Sylvanas today, replacing Alexstrasza, but she never works out as intended. My best case scenario is that she's gone 1 for 1, worst case she gets facelessed or nuked after the opponent clears his board. I felt I only had Alex in my hand when my opponent had less than 15 hp and I had more, or I was going to win/lose anyways.
My other legends in the deck so far are TBH, BM, Rag, and Cairne, which all seem to do relatively well. With Sylvanas in I feel like I have too many situational cards and often sit with TBH, sylvanas, BGH, Ooze, and/or faceless in my hand when there isn't a good opportunity to play any of them.

You could just make a zoodeck to farm with for awhile until you finish control. They're cheap, maybe 2-3k dust.

Both are good. Vancleef will win you more games. Thalnos is more versatile.

I prefer going second with just about every deck I play. Ramp druid, handlock, zoolock and miracle rogue.

Mad bombers are the worst. I can play one and the enemy will have a 1 hp minion and it'll completely miss it.
They enemy will play one and need to do an exact amount of damage to one or more of my minions and always get what he needs.

Had 3 flamestrikes and 2 blizzards a few days ago. Got me to 10 wins.

That shouldn't really even need to be thought about since 2 of them are worthless. Obv go for the molten giant.
