HMMMMMMMMM there have been multiple legendary reveals in the past that turned out to be true, and everyone just dismissed them as fake. I think the wisest approach is to believe until proven wrong ;p
Did you by any chance record those statistics using HSDecktracker or a similar software? Seems like you put a lot of effort into this, but it seems odd that you're not really presenting any proof.
'I am a Statistician by trade, with over 15 years of experience crunching p-values and t-tests. So I decided to run a statistics experiment to test my theory.'
I am a Doctor by trade, with over 15 years of experience curing colds and using band aids. So I decided to run a Medicine Experiment to test my theory because yes, I definitely am very much a real doctor
Screenshots? Deck tracker? Sampling error? Z scores, null hypotheses, alpha level, significance test output, etc? 15 years experience lol
I believe him because he simply has no reason or bias to try to slender Blizzard. If anything, it looks like he truly loves hearthstone and only wishes for it to be a fair game. I personally dislike it so much, how judgmental people are in these forums. The sample size and the difference in percentage is DEFINITELY something, at the very least, not normal, and it is simply idiotic, to dismiss it just because of unfounded suspicion.
Thanks, OP, for your hard work, and if I get to rank 5 this season I'll 100% check this out.........
I'm just proposing this theory because I don't think it's 100% unlikely. Seeing as standard will lose 2 expansions and 1 adventure, and receive 1 expansion, what do you think about the notion that maybe Team 5 would decide to make this expansion with over 150 cards?
I think it is beneficial to them financially as well, because the more cards there are to get, the more money people would potentially spend.
And also it would probably make players happier, because the card pool would not be lessened by as much as if we receive the normal amount of cards.
You are talking about getting to the top 0.5% of players. Of course its a hard grind! Take any game and it is by no means easy to get to that top rank. It's a hard challenge and its a grind. Just keep it up, don't let it get to you. Play to have fun, not just to rank up and you'll get there in no time. I believe in you.
Good point. Because so many people played it, then the reaction of the meta was that an equal amount of players counter it, so yeah... It pretty much isn't a good deck in the current meta.
