" - Hey Ben we got this awesome idea to do a worse version of a card that was never played in the first place, but this time also make sure its cost directly conflicts with the class' best minions. And get this: we can also reuse a bad pun
- Sounds great, can I go back to watching Yogg Sauron play the game for me?
- Yup"
How to make Druid the varied and interesting class it fully deserves to be:
- Step 1: don't make every single new card revolve around token generation, buffs, mana ramp or be a vanilla stat stick with or without taunt - Step 2: there is no step 2
Feugen and Stallag were similar cards - good stats on their own, but even better when working together. However, to make this guy work you will need a lot of board control - and then you should have already won the game. And if you enemy has a Shadow Word: Death, you just paid 18 mana in order to get destroyed.
Spend all your mana. Draw cards and take damage equal to the mana spent.
It's so obvious, if it's not this, I'll kill myself with a rusty wooden spoon.
This would be so ridiculously OP it's not even funny, so I sincerely hope that's NOT it.
Case in point: Handlock, T3 Draw 3 and lose 3 HP, guaranteed T4 Moutain Giants (with BHG most likely getting nerfed to death)/max size Twilight Drakes, even playing first, while still having played something on T2 AND getting closer to Molten range.
Excellent, 8 months later finally comes the answer to the massive problem that was going away at the same time anyways. Also this suffers from the tech card issue of being extremely bad on its own in 70% of matchups, making it a base 3/5 without the +1/+1 part would have been infinitely better, no matter how much everyone is currently fantasizing about it right now.

Why would you ever not unlock BRM? It has freaking Thaurissan as a 1st wing reward.

Well I know a neutral card in the basic set that's better than Warsong Commander...
