posted a message on The card i want the most changed/nerfed for WOG

I'm okay with the card right now. But if standard and WoG slows down the game(which I think it will) then I do see this getting nerfed. Slow game = playing less cards per turn = more cards in your hand, which means the card would be insane if there's am aggro pally that's viable. Let's see how things go.

Wow this is actually insane. The "Murloc" tag is already expensive(mana wise). And a 1/3 murloc for 1 mana is already good. I love it! But I am a bit scared to see where it goes XD.

posted a message on Is it too late to start WoW?

Before you start playing wow you have to understand that raid dungeons like Naxxramas and Blackwing Layer/Molten Core(BRM) are old dungeons. Which means that people don't do them anymore because the gear that you get from those is not as good as the current gear. Sure you can go there and if you're max level you can do them by yourself, but the experience of that isn't the same as it used to be(and that's okay, new content gets made all the time).

But the game is awesome, I do recommend you give it a try. But just for your information I probably wouldn't use the lvl 90/100 boost on your first character. You're going to be overwhelmed with everything and also you would be skipping over older areas that were pretty cool, like the Outlands, Northrend and other areas filled with a lot of cool lore and such.

posted a message on New Meta Paladin (post-Standard)

There's no reason to freak out that a certain class will be bad or good. This format isn't coming out until the next set of cards comes out, which could be very meaning full. And also the re balance of certain classic cards. Sooooo I would just chill out. I'm just happy to see cards like piloted shredder gone, there's so many cool 4 drops out there now a days, I want to see more of them see play.

posted a message on Is Midrange pala stil viable?

I reached rank 4 with it last season with midrange. Probably only got to play around 35 games, so I'm have no doubt that it can reach legend with enough games. I'm a huge fan of Justicar because it makes long game go in your favor a lot of the time. Unfortunately I can't link you a deck list because I'm at work, but I really recommend you go with a deck that has 2 zombie chows, mini bots, knife jugglers and musters for battles. Those cards make your match up against secret paladin better, and there's a lot of them out there.

Oh and if you don't have justicar then maybe replace it with something like a ysera or maybe a second quarter master if you only have one. They're not nearly as good as Justicar(imo) but they will make your late game stronger.

    Good luck!

posted a message on Mysterious Challenger is OP. Nerf!

There's a good amount of ideas going around with the nerf of the card, my favorites being change the card text to deathrattle or making the card cost 7 mana so you have more time to catch up and also you can't play the card on curve with doctor boom(unless you have the coin.)

There are major flaws on the original post idea. Making your secrets trigger twice and also making it a 4/4 is insanely bad. The card is good at the moment in part because it "filters" your deck, it takes the cards out of your deck that you don't want to draw(secrets.) Also making your secrets trigger twice isn't great because your secrets only trigger on the enemy turn, it's nothing like Brann Bronzebeard(not to mention the excessive mana cost/stat ratio.)

posted a message on What rank do people consider good?

In my humble opinion the way to tell who is a "good" player is to see about how the rank distribution in the ladder is.  If you're better than "most" players then you're a "good" player.

I'm not sure what the distribution looks like now, but a while back it was something like anything above rank 25+ was top 25% of the ladder population.  And I would say that the top 25% are "good" players because they're above the large majority of players. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT before you burn me to the ground, this is not an accurate way to look at things. There's a large amount of people who don't want to play that many games but are good at the game, they may even just hit rank 20 and stop(so they get the cardback for the month.) Or they just not have enough games to reach a certain rank, either because of time restrictions or maybe they just don't enjoy ladder, that doesn't mean those people aren't "good."

So in my humble conclusion: The original question is an very hard to answer. And there's no real reason to even be discussing this XD

posted a message on Museum Curator is Absurd

The discover mechanic is meant to slow down the game(or atleast that's a side effect of it), and I think it's doing a pretty good job. A 1/2 minion isn't great, it get's killed by anything(mostly). But the effect can fill your curve early game which is nice, and you can also get a nice late game drop if needed. I still think it's too early to call it "op" but I do like how it complements priest's need to slow down the game, specially with cards like entomb, which remove the enemy key minions.

posted a message on Naxxramas Cards

Most decks use naxx cards. Mad scientist is amazing in hunter and mage decks. Deathsbite is a must on any warrior deck. And there's a lot of small minions that fit into the zoo deck as well. There's too many cards to list off XD

I have an Ipad mini 3, mostly play hearthstone on fireside gatherings. It's very smooth to be honest. So I would imagine it would be better on the mini 4.

posted a message on Favorite New CARD!!!!

Dark Peddler is by far my favorite so far. I didn't play ladder this month until now and I made a really low curve zoo deck. The peddle is soooooo good at keeping a decent hand until late game and it has giving me lethal a good amount of time with things like power overwhelming and abusive sargent. I thought this would only be a fun card, but I will try it in higher ranks and report back how it went, but so far I'm really enjoying playing this and that's what hearthstone should be about.

posted a message on Should older adventures be free for new players?

I agree that the content needs to be lower price after maybe a year(or insert any time that is appropriate) of being released.

They are already doing that with world of warcraft. They already reduced the price of older expansion and even now they give you the older expansions all packed together(I don't think you can even buy the older expansions individually).

They could do something similar with hearthstone, but it may take a while. But the point is that it's not free, but it is waaaaaay lower price.

posted a message on Have you randomly matched up with a pro player?

Not online, but I did go against Jab in a live fireside gathering is San Francisco right after the American championships. A lot of people teased him online because he was really shy/quiet on the stream but he was really nice in person, sometime people forget that not everyone can deal with cameras. Oh and I ended up winning the series against him, it was really clutch.

posted a message on Are any old nerfs not necessary anymore?

IMO: I would rather the balance team focus on future cards rather than going back to look at old ones.

I started my EU account recently(which means no card collection) and the basic cards are not that bad even now. Sure, I can't climb past rank 11 but I really enjoy new expansions, it is a card game after all and that's how things go. Sure, it's a digital card game and they could take the game in many different directions, but I'm still okay with the few nerfed cards that would prevent new cards from being printed.
