Why would they nerf it? It doesnt even make the cut in a lot of lists. It's clunky and in metas without druid and a lot of mage/removalspell based control decks it doesnt even help that much.
Well you couldnt dust it and directly craft a golden card since you only get half the dust, but i would dust it. it's kinda absolute garbage, that has a small amount of potential if you're lucky.
I'm already teching in a flare in my secret hunter, its working great with easy card draw and secret counters in the mirror. Plus the stranglethorn tiger dream can get suck my ass
I haven't seen anyone address this topic, but the meta is looking like it's really going to slow down when Wotog comes out (Talking about standard). In a slow Control Vs Control match, this card could be amazing if you get the right minion in your hand. But when you are both topdecking against each other and he plays something big like N'zoth, this will lose you the game. Just my two cents on the control elements of the card. Other than that looks pretty terrible if you consider the ratio of good minions to bad / situational minions in hearthstone right now.
You probably don't want to, as in monkey decks you want to build it specifically around it AND there hasn't been a successful Monkeylock deck on ladder yet.
I have to ask, why would you play the twisting nether instead of jaraxxus? I understand the board clear potential, but at the same time it looks like you're trying to keep dragons on the field and twisting nether doesn't help with that. Jaraxxus would seemingly make this deck the most lategame-ass shit ever with alexstraza AND reno, but that's how renolock wins. Just a sugession.
