I'll be trying this out for sure. It is an odd concept for mage, but with Mountain Giant it could get interesting. Not that it would make sense to run a Mana Wyrm with it, you could have a 2/3 wyrm and an 8/8 giant turn 3. Not to mention another giant for next turn.
They should revert the Naga Sea Witch change too. Wild became more stale when this deck was added in my opinion. Felt like a random change at the time as well.
question guys. Baku says at the beginning of the game upgrade your hero power. So when you turn into jaina will it stay upgraded?
No, it does not work that way unfortunately. Jaina replaces your starting hero power and Baku triggers at the start of the game. It's a shame Genn won't even work this way as it clearly states starting hero power will cost (1). Guess that could be too strong, but still... even or odd seems like a huge cost to pay before playing with it at least.
Whether this card is good or not is going to heavily rely on how the meta settles. If I had to take a guess though this card is only playable. Lots of ways you can use it, just a whole lot of ifs.
It's much higher near the release of an expansion, I'll browse these forums during work when I can or listen/watch someone review the cards. So it's around 4-5 hours. I feel like I do more of this than play the game.
I pre-ordered as well. I think that counts as more than none though. I voted 75-100 as that's what I normally do. Could just be the pre-order this time since I have a bunch of dust saved up.
For me it has always depended on the golden animation as well as the power level. I still have my golden Loatheb from ages ago now. I don't even play wild that much. I feel like I'll be crafting Azalina Soulthief and Archmage Arugal though.
Not sure what that has to do with the thread topic at all..... but op is right. Seems like we lose a lot of aoe to gain none this set. You left out Warlock losing Felfire Potion and Warrior Sleep with the Fishes, gaining Warpath. Probably just means we have a more AoE heavy set coming later in the year.
If we are talking since the beginning of hearthstone, Recombobulator. I've just always loved that card, even though better has been printed since. (not neutral though)
Obviously good in rogue, unless against aggro it could backfire if you are daggering turn two. I see it as great addition to paladin starting line-up. Lost in the Jungle, Righteous Protector, Cathedral Gargoyle into this are all acceptable. Warrior has the whirlwinds, but wouldn't you want this in a more aggro/rush deck? It can also be used with Mind Control Tech.
When you compare it to Twilight Guardian, it's three mana more for +1/+5 and not even a dragon. That doesn't mean it is bad. I think it'll be a fine one of in some dragon decks.

This would synergize well with hunters deathrattle activators/cards and also still hold the beast synergy while not being too powerful I believe.

Joust: Say the card gains +3/+3 if you win, +1/+1 if you lose. Something like that could have worked. Or, if you lose the joust you draw the card.

It doesn't look amazing, but I'll for sure be trying it in a couple days. Lost in the Jungle, Righteous Protector, Cathedral Gargoyle all three of these before Marsh Drake can work out just fine. Other dragons you could throw in there - Cobalt Scalebane, Nightmare Amalgam, Twilight Drake, Ebon Dragonsmith. With Wyrmguard and Silver Sword as support.

I feel like Azalina Soulthief will be strong. Maybe not the strongest, but people will come to hate this card sooner or later.
