I think this will actually mean silence will be more regularily seen. The Jeweled Scarab can now discover it.

Seagull0 posted a message on Card Nerf - Force of NaturePosted in: Card DiscussionQuote from Stormbringer36 >>Savage roar was the real problem in the combo
I completely agree. Force of nature could've also be played as removal or defensively, now it's neither. If they only nefed savage roar the combo would be dead and this card would still be viable. -

dragonmago posted a message on New Legendary Card - Yogg-Saron, Hope's EndPosted in: Card DiscussionI would argue that the HS developers, being either former MTG developers or at least having learned a ton about it, know about player profiling, how not every card is made for competitive players, the spike/johnny/timmy demographics, etc, etc, etc...
To make it short, not every legendary is supposed to be Dr. Boom and us tournament tryhards could STFU every now and then.

I'm asking myself if letting my free trial renew for $10.99 is worth this golden pack. With no guarantees of a legendary or even an epic, I have to say no.

It seems like it would have been okay if we didn't already have a lot of better 5-drops. The only deck I can see this fellow in is miracle rogue as a one-of, but even then it's pretty tight.
The new meta may introduce cooler decks where this guy might fit in a little better. We'll have to wait and see.

It's a bit of stretch here, but could Zoobot and The Curator be hinting towards possible future multi-tribed minions? How cool would Dragon-Murlocs be?

Very fun deck.
Sadly I don't have Archmage Antonidas so I replaced him with Ragnaros the Firelord. I feel like they're similar anyway.

Same here. I have a similar deck running 2x Mortal Coil, 2x Tentacle of N'Zoth, 2x Dread Infernal, and 2x Spreading Madness. It worked okay in casual, but in ranked you get swarmed by competitively strong decks.
I played a few games with Elven Archer to give me more ways to activate the tentacles or give myself an extra Patron. It works but it's too cute to be good most of the time.
Other than that, I have Doomsayers to help me clear the board to get ready for patron multiplication on my next turn.

This deck is surprisingly decent against face shaman.

So basically all you have to do is leave your opponent alone all game, get five Malygos on the board, then strike for 30 damage! ... Oh wait, warriors and druids have armour, warlocks can tap, mages can ping themselves in the face and hunters can ping themselves in the face with Steamwheedle Sniper. 0/10 card. Blizzard hates rogues.
For real though, this card is pretty nuts. It may also be worth noting that you can discover this card with Jeweled Scarab.

Yeah... Well... It's not like I even want to use Blade Flurry because it would ruin my powered up Poisoned Blade.
