Let me first start off by saying this is by no means a salt thread. I just noticed that there are many threads talking about how unbalanced Mysterious Challenger is, yet hardly any that talk to the bigger issue of Pali's strong curve. I'm not just talking Dr. 6, 7 and 8. Most of the time when I lose against Secret pali I lose by turn 3. We can all agree that Shielded Minibot is one of the best, and sometimes arguably the best 2 drop minion in the game. That in combination with Muster for Battle pretty much guarantees the paladin player board control. Or we've also all been in the situation where an unanswered Knife Juggler on 2 is followed by Muster, which also usually guarantees the board. I just think that Muster is definitely undercosted. Most of the time the biggest problem on turn 3 when it's played is that the pali gets to swing. Light's Justice by itself is pretty awful, but pay an extra 2 mana and you can basically hero power three times? Pushing muster to 4 mana makes it so that it's developed a bit slower, plus we all know that Pali's 4 drop slot is already heavily contested. What are your thoughts? Would a 4 mana muster for battle be unplayable?
I think it would've been more fun actually if the gifts was rng. Discover is way too strong and in addition to the reduced cost it just made the brawl super snowbally (no pun intended) for whoever got the presents first. Would've liked gifts to just be random (kind of like when you unwrap a gift you don't know what you get)
You still need Sylvanas Windrunner. It's just so strong in the control mirror. And if you're vs aggro you have to tank it like CW is supposed to anyways. You also need Acolyte of Pain. I only run 1 of in my CW list (hit legend with it like a week ago) and I'd honestly drop the owl for it. Only thing it really helps you against is Tirion Fordring. And yeah as people have mentioned try replacing ww with revenge. Sometimes your opponent doesn't play around it and it just turns the board state completely around.
I think it'd be cool to have battlecry draw 3 cards deathrattle discard 3 cards. Not sure how the stats or cost would work out but I think that'd be an interesting effect to have in Hearthstone
Like people above have said, let's see how the meta shifts before we really pass any judgment. I think it's easy to say statwise that rend is awful. I can give a great example: I was playing ramp druid the other day and I traded my Druid of the Claw in taunt form into something and then played KT to revive it. I was thinking I'd be way ahead because he (a paladin player) already used both an equality so he likely didn't have an answer. Next turn he plays Rend on KT and I was blown back that someone actually plays that card. My amazement was cut short when I ran my 4/6 into his 8/4 and then proceeded to destroy him even further.
I think Rend will be one of those cards that'll be really hard to play. At 7 mana you can't play much else with it so if the opponent removes it easily that's a huge tempo swing. It's different from BGH obviously because at 3 mana you can play many other things to maintain tempo even if they kill your BGH.
It's important to remember that silencing one doesn't really help if multiple die with it 4 die (1 with silence) still does 3*4*3 (36). That is why if you do let any die it's important that you stagger their deaths.
So I would say there are two main types of druids you can play: the taunt heavy one or the wombo combo one. You need two ancient of lores for either of these type of decks since it often helps replenish your hand. The FoN savage roar combo is sometimes not run in the taunt heavy version just for consistency (although feel free to run one as a quick kill condition if you do draw into it). The taunt heavy one is really just all about ramping up and playing wall after wall and eventually your opponent can't get through them anymore. The wombo combo one is about getting minions to stick so that when you do combo you have more reach. Wombo combo is the more aggressive kind of deck where sometimes instead of trading you just go for face because in a couple of turns you would have lethal. The taunt one is more defensive and relies on grinding your opponent out of cards as they generally have to trade unfavorably to get through your taunts. I would say that the wombo combo one is cheaper to make just because you only really need one FoN and two savage roars and some other sticky minions and you're good to go.
So...your entire post is because you get a quest that says kill 20 minions and you don't want to kill 20 minions because you'd only get 40 gold instead of 60....? I don't understand how you're getting punished. Are you losing gold? If anything you just got a shitty quest that you can't help but finish. If it makes you feel any better just win 6 more games to compensate.

How in the world did OP come to the calculation that there's a 25% chance that the last two cards in your deck will be the same? Common sense plz?

I used standard handlock and won lol. After you shadowflame his board once it's pretty much game over.

Grim Patron doesn't really belong in control warrior. You also don't want to play any cleaves. Should also be running two Shield Slams

Silence via Mass Dispel

If you're playing freeze mage with the goal to fatigue your opponent then you're doing it wrong lol

Freeze mage is not cheesy...try playing it

I think sylvanas will be a staple in most decks so brm won't really affect its playability
I actually think foe reaper isn't as bad as people put it out to be. A mage played it against me and it put me in a really awkward situation.
