There are already several Mage decks which perform well with very few spells, and this card looks to push it all the way.
This minion is very similar to
Arcane Dynamo
, however, its potential mana reduction boosts the power level well into playability.
Y'all remember Darkspeaker? No? Exactly. Unlike Darkspeaker, this has the potential to be good. Provided you have 4-mana removal, this could be used to catch up to your opponent; switching stats with their 12/12* and then destroying their brand new 3/6. On the flip side, this also could be used as a tool to prevent your opponent from catching up to you with their big minions.
Taking a page from Emeriss, this minion has the potential to double its stats upon being played. However, this benefit does not come easy, as your deck must (still) contain at least 4 dragons. Luckily, Hunter is infamous for its low draw-power, so that shouldn't be a problem. Right?
While this card does not actually prevent the taking of Fatigue damage, it does put it to good use. At the start of your turn (while your deck is empty, and after you draw a card) you will summon a random minion of cost equal to the amount of damage you took (5 dmg. --> 5 cost summon). However, this card also allows for you to put to use any card-draw you might have left over from earlier in the game, if you decide it's worth it, of course.

Mill Rogue was a prevalent archetype before the Hall-of-Fame'ing of Coldlight Oracle, and Rogue Tracker offers a new approach to replace it.
On the other hand, Mage has a considerable amount of draw power, and could very well find itself a new win-condition with Fateweaver.

Harnassing the power of the moon, for a price.

Interesting idea for a Rogue spell I had. It echoes a recurring theme in that class of summoning 1/1 copies of minions.

Very similar to Darkspeaker, but has the potential to actually be good.

Sure this might seem like a fun card, but is it worth giving up your hero power to RNG?

A rather simple and yet fun Mage spell, this can offer some cheap and direct damage, or it can get one of your minions out of an icy situation.

I voted Mete-Defining because it's cards like this that keep Hunter out of the Meta
