As many guys already said Control meta means creation of greedy decks that will rekt control like Miracle, jade and other stuff. And there comes aggro to counter greedy decks, so it transforms control meta into whole aggro/greedy tempo meta. Only variant to avoid that for some decks - to have tools to deal with both greedy and aggro but then it would be called 'midrange' meta. In HS there was already a midrange meta - before WtOG and standart format, when meta looks like Midrange-Combo Druid vs Secret Pally, and probably it was the worst meta in HS (another example was Midrange Shaman after Karazhan who facerolled before MSoG, which was perhaps worse). So i my opinion Control meta would become not what ur all guys expected
Why people say it's good against Goons? Turning Don Han'Cho into a 6-drop? Cairne Bloodhoof, Sylvanas Windrunner are glad to see you. Transform like 3 5-5 Dopplegangster into 3 4-drops? 7-7, Yeti and Argus, and it isn't worse than 3 5-5 (More than half of 4-drops are vanilla or over- stated). Remove single buff from Tirion is great, but Hex will be much better. So only really good option is to counter buffed -2 or -3 drops, which is not big of a deal, because u also need to clear them.

Because Pirates don't always draw their arcanite reapers (actually i doubt they would use this card)

Seems ok, but why should u run two Getaway Kodo instead of, for example, one Grimestreet Informant and Wickerflame Burnbristle ?

This is decent. All cards are good by themthelves and also has synergy with Auctioneer and other Rogue-favorable minions. The only minus is weak stats

Priest's Legendary, inspired (he,he) by The Mistcaller

Classic stats with drawback concept

'He passes for a family expert'

'It's not about George Martin, it's about last mission in Frozen Throne' Push some overload shamans

Tempo card for all classes

Seems very good card with all effects putting dicarded cards back and also decent with Tiny Knight of Evil
5
Some burst potential for paladins
2
Armsmaster Harlan brings you some weapons, maybe they aren't useful

Here is my submission. Cheaper Mind Control with a drawback

Embrace the Lion of Azeroth
