I read all these posts talking about the legendaries they got and thought to myself "surely these packs don't have a higher chance of having legendaries, or anything like that. Must be coincidence."
Then I opened mine and got Lyra the Sunshard. I'm really stoked, because it's a card I was already seriously considering crafting.
Disgusting card. Everyone complains that the meta is too fast, and then they go and print a card like this, that fits like a glove in current Pirate Warrior and quite possibly in the upcoming aggro hunter as well. Thanks a lot, Team 5.
Being very dissatisfied with Jades and Pirates, and not all that many interesting things being revealed for Un'goro, I decided to give Gwent a try.
It's not for me. For those who are enjoying it, keep playing. I sincerely and dearly hope that other card games are successful, so that they can maybe become serious competition for HS. But based on the impression that I got from trying it out, Gwent is not even close to being the game that will make me stop playing HS.
In Hearthstone, proactive cards can nearly always be played and grant you immediate tempo, while reactive cards often sit uselessly in your hand waiting for an opportunity to get used, that might never come (since their effects are often too specific). Defensive / reactive cards can't really be played for tempo without losing a lot of value, while aggressive / proactive cards can. As a result, you have classes like priest struggling unless Blizzard gives them a bunch of over-budgeted cards. And aggressive decks always seem to dominate the meta. Any thoughts about that?
"Some of Hearthstone’s familiar faces will gain the Elemental minion type, joining the ranks of Murlocs, Dragons, Pirates, and Beasts for exciting new synergies."
Love this deck. I don't have Finja or Forbidden Healing, so I replaced them with a second Ivory Knight and a Lay on Hands. So far, I've been having good results. =)
It feels like my opponents don't know how to play around this deck, since it's so unusual. Great guide BTW!
After seeing all the class cards revealed, I'd say that the biggest winner is Shaman, followed by Mage. The biggest loser is Priest, followed by Warlock.

Worgen can be Druids in WoW, and they have a human form.

Fuuuuuck.

Yeah, no, thanks.
We're in dire need of new game features, not even more paid hero portraits.

Dang, I hadn't even realized that Hearthstone was five, let alone a fansite.

How is it account sharing if they listed two different accounts?
It's probably just two guys who have a single online persona.

the issue is not it being broken. it's how unfun it is to play against.

There ARE mechanical gorillas in Un'goro, actually. IIRC, that mech gorilla with "discover a new mech" lives in Un'Goro (in WoW).

It's official, Blizzard no longer supports Mechs.

I, for one, bow down to our new Druid overlords.
