I somehow won with shadow ascendants. Between Mirage callers and a bunch of ressurects I had four of the guys on the board just juggling all the buffs. It was baffling and hilarious
I was trying to go for outhealing/taunts with priest vs magic mirror and accidently milled it to death when it duplicated northshires and got 4 of them on the board. I only had one northshrie and lightwell, both buffed with velen's on the board for the most part
I like random brawls but I'm nonetheless glad that after first loss I got 5 wins straight for my quest and moved on. My last game went like T2: dagger, T3: Alarmobot, T4: bot pulls jormungar, "You have bested me"
Mostly standard for now because quests. Will probably stick with it though since I have the least cards from GvG
Tried Wild few times and aside from your usual secret pally and such, there was a number of new players in there. Like a warrior with those big WOG commons (10 mana 10/10 and the other one) plus Cthun and no cthun buffers at all
Nerfing cards creates bad taste for everyone involved. Would it really be better if they kept nerfing old cards just so they can introduce competetive new ones? Or powercreeped new sets so old ones become irrelevant ?
Anyway iirc one of the main reasons was so new players don't have to catch up with every single set in the future just to be able to play
Logged in for a bit and opened some packs around ~6:30 am. No issues there
It could be just because there are far less people playing in the middle of the night/morning. Not gonna sing praises just yet, still at least gotta give them credit for releasing at such a time that would smooth out the load on servers
My first legendary was King Krush. In my initial TGT packs I got Acidmaw. Another hunter legendary is just natural conclusion. (Haven't opened enough GvG packs for legend so no hydra)
I'm convinced Blizzard is just fucking with us all. There's no way this shit isn't completely rigged. I'm sitting at 12 health, opponent has 4 damage on board with two minions. I have around 10+ damage on board with 4 minions, one of which is Millhouse Manastorm. I have Mal'Ganis in my hand. Next turn I can clear his board and drop my immunity. Millhouse shouldn't matter because he only has three cards. Oh wait, he plays Unstable Portal and gets Archmage Antonidas. Of course he does. Fucking facepalm. This game man. You could be the most perfect player and still have RNG fuck you over. Hearthstone as an esport game... rofl.
Reminds me of a game from the last brawl. Had 20 hp left, with some minions on the board (lethal next turn easily), he had one card in hand plus draw on his turn. I figure there's no harm in Millhouse unless his second portal is Deathwing or something, but eh, I'll deal. Turns out he didn't even have portals there. He had TWO Pyroblasts

I hate my average luck sometimes. Not bad luck, average. I mean, I got 4 legends out of ~75 packs, that's decent right?
Herald Volazj, Shifter Zerus twice and Anomalus. Sigh.

It wasn't so bad.
Though it would be nice to have a "skip animations" option.

Looks like I was wrong after all. Shocking.
Got Herald Volazj and Shifter Zerus.
