Yeah, beefy legendaries get removed the next turn 80% of the time. that's why people tend to use the ones that can do sth the turn they're played, like Rag or Ysera. Also they force a hard removal out of your opponent, clearing the way for your next beefy legendary.
I once Mind Visioned 2 Pyroblast in the same turn from Jaina with 6 or 7 cards in her hand. casually brought her down to 20 with my minion and... Guess she did see that coming
This is probably a silly idea, but if you can play a game, record every thing down and post it here, I'm sure people will analyze it for you. You can either record it as a video or use text like:
low value mode would be more viable. Basic mode won't work for beginners because at the start of the game you have plenty of easy quests like "play 3 games against human and get 1 pack" things, so there's always some common and/or rare involved.
Flowe, you're wrong, that's all. Many decks run Ancient Watcher, what are you going to do to avoid it if it has taunt? Not attack the entire game?
What decks, please post proof.
You know you could just click on the card name and let the forum take you to the card detail page, in which there's a "In Decks" section at the bottom half of the page. And BTW the 533 on the column head seems a big enough number for me to prove its usefulness.
I think the issue with your thoery is: yes it has to be combo-ed with some other card to be effective, but those combo cards are not just for this one card.
If you think of it, what combos with Ancient Watcher the best? off the top of my head: Ironbeak Owl, Spellbreaker, Defender of Argus and Sunfury Protector. These are all very good card, adding (some of) them doesn't reduce the effectiveness of the whole deck. And if you run these cards in your deck, you'll gain much more from Ancient Watcher than a regular minion.
Having 15 2 cost cards doesn't necessarily mean having a bad mana curve. Best case scenario, if you have decent card draw ability or have ok removals it could be viable.
A good example to prove the importance of mana curve would be a deck that has 50% of 7+ drop creatures.
I am quite flabbergasted so many people mention every other card than Angry Chicken.
I know i'm going to get into trouble with this question because people will come up with all kind of virtual scenario's (power word shield gives only +2 health so the chicken will still die to almost every random 2 drop) now, but how can Wisp be worse than Angry Chicken?
Lol, I feel the same way. Angry chicken is one of the worst IMO, you need at least 3 card to make it work, and you got a 6/n for 1 round most of the time. Not worth it.
Venture Co. Mercenary is actually not that bad because if it is on the board(especially on turn 5), sure it drags down your next turn play but your opponent would have far more trouble. More often than not they're forced to kill it with all the resources in their next turn. The only trouble I've had so far with it was from Aldor Peacekeeper
A friend of my told me he DE-ed his Bloodhoof and Prophet Velen for 2 Molten Giants. I kinda feel it's not worth it but not quite sure... Can some1 give it an analyze please? Thx

Starting hand: Arcane Missile, Polymorph, Fairy Dragon
Turn 1: drew Frostbolt, pass; he played Northshire Cleric then coin then Power word: Shield on Cleric 30/30
Turn 2: drew Gurubashi Berserker, hero power in his face; he healed himself then attacked with Cleric 29/30
Turn 3: ......

I don't like Ice Barrier or Ice Block either.

Once I had 2 Inner fire and 2 divine spirit in hand and a 1/5 northshire cleric on board ready to attack. end up having a 5/20 cleric...

Playing rogue:
r1 get a dagger, attack;
r2 put down the Southsea Deckhand, atk with dagger and wait where's the charge?
