Finally a weapon worthy enough that Blade Flurry had to die for it.

fanteezy posted a message on Lesser Ruby SpellstonePosted in: Lesser Ruby SpellstoneFirst off, I'd like to say that this card is another wrong step in direction for Hearthstone. Random card generation is just super unhealthy for the game, especially for a class like Mage with such high quality cards. This mechanic is the least fun and interactive, since neither players have control over it and it can feel really unfair to lose based on a random outcome, applicable to the player who plays this card as well. It's unfair to say that heroes like Gul'dan have bad quality cards since his hero power is very strong (which is undeniable) while classes like Mage is pampered with cards like these. Discover mechanics for random cards is still somewhat acceptable since you at least it isn't entirely random, but pure random card generation should just go extinct after the next (Un'Goro) rotation.
Now, the actual card itself. IMO it well definitely see play in control mage (running Jaina and certain elementals like Fire Fly and Tar Creeper). It's worth mentioning that a pair of Fire Flies are enough to activate it's final form. It may see play in Exodia with a Fire Fly tempo package, but that is highly unlikely since it's not easy to free up more than two more spaces in such a deck, even if Cabalist's Tome rotates out.

How do you grimscale turn one?
1
1 mana 1/6
3 mana 2/6
Minions don't take damage when attacking and have semi-charge
Discover hero power.
What's not to love?

The thing is that charge isn't the problem, the problem is that he thins your deck out. If you could simply make a deck with 29 cards it would be better than one with 30, and to also get a 1/1 with charge alongside your turn 1 3/2 just seals the package.

0 mana 7/7 confirmed

"After you case a spell"
God dammit Blizzard, I thought Anomalus was bad enough.

It saying specifically Immediately might actually mean that. It has different wording than Feign Death and immediately fells like it will trigger right away rather than later, while Feign death just says trigger.

Not a good replacement, but a replacement.

This card is too op, people will just play molten giant decks where they play Servant of Yogg-Saron, it will cast Holy Wrath on the opponent and deal 20 damage with Molten Giant.

Thanks, I was able to reach legend using this deck.

No, it triggers when your turn ends. The boom bots will pop the ice block, not kill you. I've been in this scenario quite a few times.
