So, the installer (windows.squirrel) uses .net framework 4.5. The installer will also install this if its missing.
My only guess is you have a bad version of 4.5 installed, so squirrel sees you have it, but then crashes. I would try re-installing the .net 4.5 framework. If you are having issues with other apps like that installing, that would be my first guess.
We commented on this in another thread. Currently all dust cost is calculated client side via JS. Doing it server side for every search puts a massive weight on the server. This was actually something we originally had in the first iteration.
it is something we still want to add, but we will need to find a way to limit it, if everyone used it, it would drop our servers ;(
