I just tried on my account (NA). Got a legendary on pack 5 of Un'Goro and no others.
Meanwhile my friend came online when I told him about it and he got a classic, old gods, and Un'Goro legendary within the first ten packs of those sets.
I've received them on the EU servers but not NA. Searching around all the forums it seems like they are doing it in batches for the NA servers... so I guess we will just have to wait
Decided to challenge myself and see how far I can go from R20 Wild using a random deck (created when you click 'done' with 0/30 cards).
Decided to do it for Rouge as my lowest number of ranked wins (27/500). The deck was pretty terrible and I was expecting to lose every game... queue into golden Warlock and I manage to get a TURN 8 lethal!
That's not even the best part though, I got lethal because he didn't trade with my board and I was holding Baron Geddon! 2HP matters guys
Get rid off all the unnecessary text about the swords raining down.
Anyway I think this effect will always be too powerful as a spell as there can be no interaction with it - that's probably why they attach immunity-style effects to minions (e.g. Violet Illusionist). Maybe instead attach the immunity effect to a low cost, low attack/high health with the "Can't be targeted with hero powers or spells" as this encourages interaction against even the fastest face decks.

Wow that is way more indepth than my own stats, thanks!
Anyway seems like the only quest that appears way too often is the "Win two games with two Classes" quest and maybe the 30 class cards quest. Still though, almost half your quests are 40G's when it should be third of the time if weighted the same :/
I've been keeping track of my quests and I'm finding that 40 Gold quests are really common - e.g. last month I had 12 out of 28 days where both my quest and the reroll were worth 40 Gold (about 43% of the days, compare that to the 10% of days that is expected). And since the patch adding more quests, 30 out of 129 days (23%) were 40G's as well.
So that got me thinking, how much more likely is it that we get 40 Gold quests? I found some analysis on Reddit back when we had that Karazhan glitch (sorry, after ages searching I couldn't find it again) that found that the drop rates were in fact not equal and that 40G's came up slightly more often. It was from before the patch adding all the new quests though so it would probably be wrong now anyway.
So... do you guys record this sort of stuff? It would be nice to find out the percentages and if all quests drop evenly and if I'm just unlucky ;p
And before anyone says it, I am salty but only a tiny bit. I find the 40 Gold quests a waste and I always seem to get the unskippable ones. However, I'm actually making this thread to find out everyone else's experience Oh and this is my first thread :)
I'd actually like to see it as a 0/2 and +3 attack, that way it can only attack if they have a weapon or the opponent removes the weapon first (or you don't have a weapon) then they get to kill it for free. That way it has a downside but is still a dangerous 1-drop.
The average quest gold worth is just over 52 Gold. This means that in the long run you will make slightly more gold by rerolling the 50 Gold quests. Like someone said before, it's about a two in three chance that you will get another 50G or a 40G quest, so you'll just have to reroll that quest again. I was trying that but I always found I was forced to complete a low worth quest anyway as I had three.
So I say just do the 50G quests but not the 40G quests, unless they increase the number of slots available.
I have no idea how but I just got TWELVE WINS in Arena (12-2)! My previous best was six wins (also a Shaman deck) and I have less than 50 Arena wins all up as I have only really just started doing Arena - I was sitting on the edge of my seat all the way past 5 and I was literally stunned after so many matches that I was still going!
Anyway last match was against a Mage with two Firelands Portals, and I would have lost if not for Finders Keepers - infact it saved me in quite a few matches.
Also it was actually a practise run on EU but I guess now I'm ready to try Arena on my main? Maybe I'll give it a few more practise runs first ;)
I very recently decided to start opening TGT packs as I consider my MSG and WotOG collections fairly solid and I had zero cards from TGT except for a few commons that I crafted.
I open my 11th TGT pack ever and I see the orange outline and I thought "oh cool this happened pretty soon" - I spin the card around and it's a golden Confessor Paletress! My second golden Legendary ever, and I got both of them this month!
Why do you have Earth Shock, is it just removal against Pirate Warriors or is it more for the silence? Because I found this deck to do well against them (atleast at my rank anyway). I'll still try your new one anyway though seeing as this one is working so well for me. In fact I seem to be beating everything other than reno decks, I'm thinking of using a Bloodlust but I'm not sure what to trade out :p
There kinda already is a "viability rating" on each card's page, the problem is that the poles were open before the cards were released and opinions change with different metas... I think it is a good idea, but I also do think it won't stop threads asking if it's a good idea to craft or not.
However, I love the idea of each card's page having links to popular decks that they are used in, that is a great idea!

I read on the forums that we get them on the 30th, no source though

Just got to Rank 10 for the first time with a seven win streak and had to share, top 9% feels awesome! Especially as my previous highest rank was 14.

Yeah I would really like that Cardback and Hero as well, I'm actually a little disappointed they haven't said anything more.
