Decent card , even though it can be silenced, but so could voidlord or obsidian statue and both of Them saw play.
This will work in somekind of restore druid
But they only saw play because they were resummoned after they were killed when they were silence. As Hadronox is gone this can't happen in Standard at least.
So use other powerful deathrattles as well. They can't silence everything (unless you're foolish enough to put it all out there at once against a Priest).
Ignoring Genn & Baku, most of the rest of the Year of the Raven was pretty decent. I think Rastakhan's Rumble has some of my favorite designs from a mechanical perspective. Flavor-wise, it's Witchwood, no contest. Honorable mention to League of Explorers.
I think this card is usable in many siturations, but usually really bad.
Cast on own minion: I dont really see the mage minions to cast this on. Many random minions dont have great stats, especially Boomsday has lots of them and getting Value out of this card needs an 8 mana + minion so it cant be played in the same turn as the minion you want to cast it on. This could be good for Hunter though, I have the feeling they switched up this with Vereesa to make these cards horrible instead of really strong.
Cast on enemy minion: No matter what cost the enemy minion has, your opponent starts with 2 all-new and ready minions in the next turn. Bad.
Also, I dont see the Cube in this card. Cube is neutral (and was never played in Mage), gives you guaranteed good cards (Charge) and is actually a 5 mana 4/6 and not a Spell. It also has deathrattle synergie for Play Dead and Terrorscale Stalker what gave it the popularity in Hunter.
It's not bad on Voodoo Doll -- two cards and six mana to summon two 3-drops and kill an enemy minion. That's basically a free hard removal.
All this debate over Spell Hunter vs Beast Hunter is weird and wrong.
I think cards like this and Vereesa Windrunner point to a couple of different archtypes that have nothing to do with all-beast or all-spell. The support for those things is disappearing rapidly.
There will continue to be a midrange archetype that uses both spells and minions ... like Midrange Hunter usually does.
And there will be a Deathrattle (Mech) Hunter, which is shaping up to be pretty strong. "Mech" is in parentheses because it's focused more on the Deathrattles than the Mech aspect, and some may even try to do without any Mechs at all.
In terms of tempo it's just a war golem that costs 1 extra mana. If you draw this early on then most of the time it's dead in your hand until the very end of the game. It's really only good when it's against another control deck, but at that point it's amazing... or you could use it with Hakkar... Not sure there's any other card in standard that get's rid of the bloods anymore.
Half of any control deck is dead in your hand until late in the game. That's why control decks emphasize value and card draw. It's not a big deal.
But yeah, in control vs. control, this makes up for the massive endgame value of the DKs that are rotating out.
Most likely a 1/1 Nightmare Amalgam, or a new token called just amalgam, but the mechanic will be the same. It counts as all those tribes for synergy purposes.
I think it would be a new token, else the 1/1 would be silenced and turned into a 3/4.
Incorrect. Thats not how that would work.
Why? If it's a minion with 1/1 as base stats and only has the art of Nightmare Amalgam, then yeah - silencing it won't achieve anything.
If it's an entirely new token with the "All" tribe, then this won't work as well as I said.
However if for some reason the Hag summons 2 Nightmare Amalgams and their stats are set to 1/1, then silencing those minions will return them to their original bodies.
If she summoned Nightmare Amalgam, it would say so on the card. There is plenty of room.
She's not copying a card out of your deck and enchanting it like Barnes. She is summoning her own fresh instances of Amalgam, period. And it's inherently a 1/1 minion. If it's not a copy, there's no need for the enchantment shenanigans.

Kalecgos would like to see you in his office. It will only take a minute.

Defender of Argus can also do a lot of work to make you feel less defenseless after such a low-tempo play.

Tempo Warrior is the only Warrior I actually enjoy playing, so I'm cool with this.

You obviously don't play a lot of Rogue.

Battlecry cards like Former Champ are also good.

Warriors, we heard you like 10-Cost cards ...

Might work in those Miracle decks I'm expecting to see.

I can't wait to see people get their own board cleared by Explosive Shot because they think this goes with Zul'jin.

Even with the craziest, most powerful minion, this doesn't even make sense. Spell Warrior doesn't seem viable in any format,
Once you get out this massive, awesome pair of minions, your opponent will just use all that removal he's been saving up the whole game.
I don't think I even want to know what unrevealed enablers Team 5 thinks will make this worth playing.

Yeah, Miracle Priest and Miracle Mage are both going to be real.
