Do you draw a card and then the weapon effect triggers, or vice versa?
I am asking because if you draw first, that means that if you set up ideal hand, and then at the start of turn if you draw some crappy demon, all your plans can be ruined :\
Good question. Most start of turn effects suck so I cant say I remember if you turn "starts" before or after draw.
I run a similar deck but no DK anduin. What do you think about this card? I didnt craft him but i really thought it was unnecessary for this style deck.
Mine doesnt run nzoth or Y'sharrj either but i grabbed a few tar creepers to stabilize early game and Ysera, and lyra instead. There is zero lack or cards this way and of the 10? games i have ran to fatigue i have only lost one.
I'm going to try Spreading Plague because fast aggro is the only thing this deck has a really hard time with. It probably won't be a 2 of when I play with it, but it will be tweaked.
This version of ramp is more on a combo thing with the ancient one combos though. Even still I would recommend droping Bright-Eyed Scout Due to it being nowhere near as good as Naga Sea Witch used to be.
I would drop both dis-spells and both big dragons. Add 2 SW:P and a book wyrm.
Also crysalline oracle is a good one drop vs aggro for board presence and a card. At first i didnt like it but after running the deck with 2 of them in it, you have more options out of the gate vs pirate warrior and mid hunter.
With this set up the only match up that isnt a positive win rate for me is murloc pali.
Its funny, I'm the same way. I loved priest and shamen back in GvG and TGT. I thought I liked the priest play style... then dragon OP and priest was popular. Boom never played it. I had a fun pirate warrior before patches and small time buccaneer came out. It was fun and mediocre.
The deck that i have been playing for the last 3 updates is ramp druid and i love it. I just hope it never becomes tier 1 or 2 because i know no matter how much i like the play style I'll find something else no one is playing.
I use 2 shield block, 2 shield slams, AND 2 sleep with the fishs. No whirlwinds, but 2 Ravaging Ghouls.
Vs. TTK Mage. Save your dirty rats and some removal for Antonidas. Play the rats when they have the quest done or right before.
Vs. Quest rogue. Again it is about the Dirty rats. Play them early and often. Kill the cards they may want to bouce back but go face to apply pressure. With enough removal you will live through a few turns of them having lots of 5/5s.
This is the type of card Preist needed the last 3? Updates. Instead they kept pushing dragon synergy and made cards like DragonOP just so the class stopped sucking.
Now dont get me wrong this card isn't GREAT. But a taunt to try and slow the game down with an added deathrattle buff. Preist needs more cards like this to fit how it was designed.

I like it!
But it is at the start of your turn, So it is pretty slow and gives your opponent the chance to put it back where it belongs(in a museum).
Still a 5/7 charge, 3/8 taunt, etc with no downsides is worth testing out. Big EZ Skull'dan?

The only lock deck this inst great in is DK control. And even then the small Guldan nerf is worth the cycle and tempo i think.

step one Meat Wagon, divin spirt, and inner fire
step 2 pullProphet Velen and play Prince Taldaram and mind blast x2 for 40 damage?
lots of set up and cant have the prophet in your hand, looks like a fun card but certainly not good.

Better on curve? yes. Better stats for the mana? yes(at least for Dark A.)
BUT, you are cheating them out by ramping, AND you want to have big stat minions that draw removal out.
Here is what I'm thinking about running with the currently released cards:
I'm going to try Spreading Plague because fast aggro is the only thing this deck has a really hard time with. It probably won't be a 2 of when I play with it, but it will be tweaked.

I will certainly run it. I have 500 games with "big" druid.
It's all about cheating out minions. First it was Aviana and Naga Sea Witch with Deathwing, Dragonlord. Now I mix in Lagy GaGa (or whatever she is called lol), and Giant Anaconda. I also stay away from battle cries. you dont want to cheat out Ancient of War, thats trash. Cheat out Ironbark Protector and suggoth. Then rez them with Hadronox.
This version of ramp is more on a combo thing with the ancient one combos though. Even still I would recommend droping Bright-Eyed Scout Due to it being nowhere near as good as Naga Sea Witch used to be.

Never. Un'goro had many fantastic anti aggro cards. Yet it is still a super strong archetype

This guy is trolling.
One second he complains of draw and the next PW:S sucks with leara because you will have too many cards.
Which is it exactly?
There will be a counter complaint with everything you tell him.

I have run somthing similar up to 7 so far.

I voted playable, just because t is either trash or a deck making build around card.

I enjoy the unspent mana cards. I would like to see some of them in game.
