Well that is up to you. Personally, I dont find it that great of an achievment to reach legend. The same effort that you make to rank from 3 to 2, it takes from 1 to legend. So nothing special or prestigious for me. When you play enough and somewhat well, legend will come. The first time that I hit legend was to prove the above point, because I have argued many times about this with some friends. So if you mean it that way, it was somewhat prestigious because I proved a point.
Taunt Druid. Very linear game plan. There’s almost nothing that can deal with witching hour into cube; it’s just a matter of survival.
And that "just a matter of survival" requires decision making.
Well yes, but if you have such a strong wincodition, like taunt druid or big priest every mistake is minimal. The deck guides you all the way. Imo these are the 2 most boring decks to play. I regret that I have crafted Hadronox back in the day.
I started with the same ambition with the launch of Rumble Run. I cleared 12/21 shrines. But now I am on a break of 10 days or so. I got a bit tired and bored on the process. Maybe in the future I will restart playing this mode.
if you are a new player, ranking should not be your priority. Try to experiment with the cards to see the strengths and weaknesses. I would not recommend a decktracker at your first steps. Try to memorize your deck and play towards your win condition.
One important thing is not only to know your deck, but be able to forsee the pros and cons of any play you make when you face another deck.
These are the things that I see my brother does wrong when he plays and cant rank beyond 15. When we play together with the same decks ranking is easier for him. So if you have a friend that is more experienced player ask him to spectate some of your games to see and explain your mistakes to you.
I m impressed that after so many changes to make the game more straightforward to the new players, this card has not been changed yet. Similar wording to Shadowflame but spell dmg does not affect this card.
Yes spell hunter can get wins easily if they have perfect hands and curves. But the deck is very susceptible to any minion that needs interaction such as Silence. Plus they cant deal easily with wide boards. So this is a deck I m very happy to face on ladder, and pretty balanced too.
In general though, I find the game boring after one point. I imagine that if I had the 1/9 options, it would be more dull and unfun, to a point that I would have to quit. So disenchanting whole classes or wild collection is something that I m against to.
But then again these are just my personal opinions and tastes.
Nerfing two classic cards from one class is somewhat ridiculous. Neither of those cards were really a problem imo.
I agree. UI is the problem not the ramp. Ramping without having what to do with the mana is not a problem. Look back (even at the competitive scene), where they had to use Nourish for card draw every time, because there was no UI and the Ancient of Lore was nerfed. I mean ok, you nerf Ancient of Lore (Classic Set btw) and then you print by far a strictly better version of it? And again the classic set is to blame? I don't see the logic.
Instead of nerfing the whole classic set they could simply do rotation of classic/basic set.
Saronite makes no sense, if you're targeting Shudderwock and it's incredibly boring and frustrating animation Grumble should've been the target.
I agree to that too. Not only Saronite, but leeching potion too. They try to get away with the bad designing of cards/mechanics- Shudderwock, Keleseth, Kingsbane, Even/odd mechanics, Quest rogue (via Giggling)- by nerfing other cards to the ground. Instead of that they should not have printed these BS cards or nerf them later and get rid of them.
There are positives for sure. I will not see again a game decided by turn 4 by buffed saronite chain gang by keleseth, or see the 1 million shudderwocks being played without being able to do sth to prevent it, or a whole format being infested by mindless kingsbane rogue decks, but overall I don't know if I m excited by the nerfs or not.
Just one Shudder is alright in both control and tempo shaman decks even after the nerf. The battlecry is so powerful that this card will definitely see play.

He who taps last, taps best.
It s a mobile game guys. Some people play it without focusing on the game no matter the rank.

Good luck to you guys and have fun.

"Lots of decisions". Sure mate. I try every deck and this was the second most boring deck after taunt druid that I have played.

Maybe Guldan needs a buff Kappa.
Dr Boom offers infinite value, but it is not so consistent as Rexxar. Definetely not tier 1.

Out of topic sort of.

Battlecry shrine - No battlecries
Lyra shrine - No spells
Discard shrine - No discard
...
Best of luck I guess.

Every playable Druid classic set card is getting nerfed.
Innervate, Wild growth, Nourish, Force of Nature, Ancient of Lore, Keeper of the grove
On the other hand they print bs cards like Ui and plague and idol. I guess money...
I like the indirect nerf to keleseth through saronite. We had enough already
