Devourer will only work with really aggressive decks. It's not impossible; you just need to build the right kind of deck. My Jade Rogue with double-battlecries and starting with two mana crystals basically shut Azari down, but if I had opted for another archetype, I'd have lost. You can't predict it... which is fine, because it's a roguelike dungeon run. It's fine to have an incredible and thrilling challenge like that.
Three wins in a row where opponent concedes turn 3. This is so goofy, I love it. Hell, I didn't even need to keep Velen's Chosen (I crafted it nonetheless); for people who don't wanna craft wild, Power Word: Tentacles works really well. It can't be played as early, true, but your opponent is already gonna be quivering in fear when you turn 3 Razorleaf silenced.
It's not the best deck for the brawl certainly, but it's supposed to be for free to play players or players who have some cards but not enough for a coherent deck. The point is to help them win the brawl with the best they got, and are able to swap out cards with better ones if they so have them. If you have better suggestions for a FTP deck for Rogue in the Brawl, feel free to make one.
Update: Went 7-1 with this deck so far. With five of my runs I used the legendaries Malchezaar gave me (my only loss was due to a really shitty deal of legendaries against a Shaman), and in two runs I never even saw another legendary from the pack aside from drawing Malchezaar. So it's not dependent on Malchezaar's legendaries, just how well you play. Good deck.
This is fine, but it also then relies way too much on either getting your mirror images/Bilefin Tidehunter in the next immediate turns to protect your health or getting insanely lucky with minion/spell draws. That said, of course it's not bad for a budget deck and I almost won a couple times so it seems to be doable.
I got two fucking Murloc Tidecallers in my hand turn one and Grimscale Oracle. Lich King didn't play any of his usual cheats aside from destroying spells. I think I'm the luckiest player alive, as I won turn 5 and only had to trade three minions. You're a godsend.

Nice budget deck. Thanks!

For a budget deck in the new expansion, this is definitely solid. Thank you for making it!

GOAT card, thank you based Brode.

The weapon is one of the absolute key things that ties it together, so finding a replacement for it would be extremely tough.

Worked for me! I didn't have two Mass Dispel so I just substituted in another 4-mana spell I had (Greater Healing Potion), easy.

Turn 3 Lethal! Fledgling + Bonemare on T1 + Houndmaster Turn 2 with Fledgling getting Windfury and attack buffs and Turn 3 sealing the deal. Stupidly powerful. Thank you!

Tried this one out; took a few attempts but I got it to work relatively smoothly on a win. Thanks!

What would you swap out for Bone Drake?

First try! I think some of it IS dependent on the Legendaries Prince Malchezaar gives you, but otherwise it's a real solid deck. Thanks!
