StholidCardsth posted a message on REWARDS TRACK UPDATE - Official Blizzard StatementPosted in: NewsQuote from YourPersonalGuru >>I would like to give my most deepfelt apology to the hearthstone community, for giving Blizzard-Activision my indirect approval of the new progression system, by buying the battle pass. I was carelessly thinking that 20€ was nothing but a few beers and would basically be equivalent to a 20pack bundle. From now on, I will restrain my consumerist habits not just to show my skepticism towards my greedy pixel dealer, but also as a sign of solidarity with my fellow card nerds. Never thought that I would encourage a pay stop... Pease!
Pity one cant downvote more than once. Talk about idiotic

Dankobuzz posted a message on Blizzard wants to make money - is it a problem?Posted in: General DiscussionThe problem is spending 80 euro on a game and not even getting close to a complete collection, thats bs. If you think about it 80 euro is so much money for so many people, so why is it so hard to just reward the player with a complete set of cards each expansion when they commit so much?

StormLime posted a message on Y'Shaarj, the DefilerPosted in: Y'Shaarj, the DefilerAre you kidding me... the original Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound is so broken in Big / recruit decks, especially in big shaman with Muckmorpher and Lightning Bloom could be summoned on turn 2

Biomass posted a message on Zephrys the Great! (Keeping highlander alive in 2021)Posted in: Standard FormatI'm against neutral highlander cards. You still want your class to be relevant and a few years from now (if HS is still around, that is), you don't want the same 15/20 cards in every highlander Wild deck.

Man, I still love that new weapon frame.

Same goes for Taunt with cards like The Black Knight and Kayn Sunfury.
Every card has some way to counter it. Just the fact that counters exist, doesn't mean the cards cannot be run.
It's so simple. If you know the opponent still has a Plague of Death in their decks, you don't put all your value on the board. Just because you lost to a silence or two, doesn't mean it's broken.
There haven't been a lot of new and powerful deathrattle cards, which is more of a shame tbh. I really like (the old) N'zoth and I always have 2-3 decks with him somewhere.

Same. I really really hope for a rotating system where just some random expansions (not just the most recent + classic or ALL) are rotated out every month.
I love wild but I wish there was a way to not see all the same cards every time.

Take your bitching to the salt thread.
It's the same thing every day. Calling for nerfs, complaining about matchups and tears upon tears about RNG. You add NOTHING to the discussion with this thread.
Au no-revoir.

I wish they'd put this much effort normally into balancing the standard format.

Another day, another poorly performing deck someone lost by once and, instead of posting it in the salt section, makes a new topic because he thinks it's "against the rules" and goes on an all-out to attempt to counter it.
If you can't win against a deck that "does nothing until turn 8", maybe the one silence isn't your problem.
Let the Mozaki mage have fun for one game. It's a really poor combo that rarely pulls off.

Yep, I got that feeling too.
I sometimes play a deck for a while and keep going against certain other decks. As soon as I want to counter those decks, I get a different type of opponent entirely, like five matches in a row.
The first match I play again with the previous deck is once again after this.
Also my long, very easy winstreaks are generally followed by a long and difficult lose streaks where I just don't get the draws constantly.
2
Exactly my point. I don't see what's wrong with buffing cards to potentially create new viable decks or even archetypes. Totem Goliath is actually a very good card now.
3
Emm...
They're buffs.

Please don't. I don't want to be forced to spend exorbitant amounts of gold or money for access to otherwise uncraftable cards.
