If this card was 6 mana summon 2 beast companions, would it see play? No. But its not even that, its that if you have no minion at all in your deck. Garbage card that proves that Blizzard doesn't give a shit about 1/9 of their entire game. I cannot believe they had the gall to print this card. I wish i could rescind my preorder at this point.
Finally hit legend for the first time. Asmodei's hunter carried me pretty far into rank 3-4 then i switched to a mixture of keleseth rogue and later keleseth zoolock to hit that legend mark. Zoolock is crazy strong.
Finally, this is the beast you want to play with abominable bowman. Drop this on turn 5, play bowman on turn 6 since it is discounted and trade off the widow. Youll get it back when bowman dies. A 5 mana 6/7 deathrattle summon a 4/6 is crazy good.
People commenting about the weakness this card has to removal is missing the point of the Grimy Goons. With the Goons, you sacrifice a little in the early game to start playing hugely overstatted minions in the mid to late game. The goal of the Goons in general is to overwhelm your opponent with minions that are too big for board clears but too many to target with individual removal. In that regard, I think Don Han'Cho is a very different card. Han'Cho is going to fit in more to combo decks than anything else. It is a huge buff to a single minion that doesn't have to be played the same turn as the minion itself. The power of this card is as a combo piece for leeroy or grom or even dopplegangster while also establishing a board presence. A little disappointing, but definitely a good and interesting card.
I'm wondering if I should dust my more useless legendaries and craft some essential ones. I currently have
Dreadscale
Acidmaw
Gahz'rilla
Eadric the Pure
Tirion Fordring
Prophet Velen
Al'Akir the Windlord
Varian Wrynn
Millhouse Manastorm
Nat Pagle
Gormok the Impaler
Blingtron 3000
Harrison Jones
Hogger
Illidan Stormrage
Justicar Trueheart
Sylvanas Windrunner
The Beast
Baron Geddon
Dr. Boom
Troggzor the Earthinator (Golden)
Ragnaros (Golden)
Alexstrasza
Nozdormu
Onyxia (Golden)
Deathwing
Of those, I would consider dusting Eadric, Millhouse, Nat Pagle, Illidan, The Beast, and Nozdormu. Potentially, I'd dust Onyxia, Al'Akir, and Troggzor too, but I'm leaning towards not doing so because 1 they're golden and 2 even though they aren't exactly viable, they serve different kind of niches that other cards don't do and 3 they're cool cards in general.
I play just about every class but warlock, but will absolutely play it eventually. I'm big into midrange and reno paladin, control warrior, various priest decks, raptor rogue, and mid-range/control hunter at the moment. The legendaries I'd like to craft are Ysera, Grommash, Vol'jin, jaraxxus, mal'ganis, thalnos, sneed's, and malygos. What is the right move at the moment?
People looking to combo this card have the wrong idea. This is a card than can quickly spiral out of control for your opponent if you can maintain board control. It's a decent size body for its cost and if the opponent can't deal with it immediately, 2 inspires nets 8 + 5 face damage from this card alone. Maintaining board control makes your opponent have to use a weapon to remove this, in which case it does another 5 face damage before it dies. The ability to do damage through taunts is invaluable in, again, board control decks. This card fits perfectly in that new mech priest deck or a control priest for burst damage.
"Huh, would you look at that. I think there's still some magic in here."
Holiday themed and based off an already successful and fully implemented card design, Old Silk Hat can be used in both freeze mage and tempo/flamewaker mage decks.

I love this card because of the implications it has with build a beast.

Fuck Blizzard, man. They know hunter is in a shitty spot and they have the gall to print and release this piece of shit? That's bullshit.
