Follows a good curve with Tar Creeper and Twilight Drake. I suppose Second-Rate Bruiser is also 5 mana, but the redundancy doesn't hurt. In a control deck, this was probably not contributing to a win condition anyway, so the draw back isn't so bad.
The 2 fantastic targets for this in Sylvanas Windrunner and Ragnaros the Firelord are rotated out! Most warrior decks only have a few minions on board at a time, and are generally underwhelming Faceless Manipulator targets. Could there be some weird pirate combo with this involving Southsea Captains (to get your other pirates above 1 health)?
Play at least 2 cards to make its stats worthwhile? It's a safer Questing Adventurer, but doesn't grow once you've played it. Actually, the redundancy on growth mechanics like that could spawn a full deck type even without Conceal, but this isn't a versatile powerhouse like the real Edwin VanCleef.
We all thought Zombie Chow was anti-aggro and it ended up being included in aggro decks. While Zombie Chow was used in aggro for board control against other aggro decks, the statline was still so efficient that it could overcome its own deathrattle in some matchups.
There's a real possibility that this also finds its way into aggro decks as a card you drop after you've flooded the board with your other 1- and 2-mana minions. The stats are super efficient, and you can still play spells (like Kill Command and Animal Compan- I mean Huffer) and hero powers (Steady Shot) without penalty. This card seems really anti-aggro, but I guarantee it will make aggro lists as a super efficient card to squeeze out on turn 3 or 4 AFTER all the other minions are played. It'll work differently from Zombie Chow, but that drawback is controllable and the stat line is still super efficient in a meta game now lacking 3 damage removals.
Really difficult card to use, but the pay out is large when looking for the cheap value spells. Can't be too greedy with this since Reno Jackson is rotation out.
Purify priest card, that doesn't even need an immediate silence! Has potential as a win condition for aggressive decks!
Voted meta-defining because it's one of those cards you'll remember for the shenanigans, in the same way we all have fond memories of Fel Reaver. I'd love to see the Ancestral Spirit into Volcano OTK puzzle.
Leper Gnome probably better if you are really considering adding this to your deck. Great cycling value when drawn from Stampede and Babbling Bird (Jeweled Macaw?), however.
The chance at the dream Poisonous value is about 1-in-3. For the style of deck you'd play this card, there's still a real chance of getting bad adaptations like taunt or +3 health when you could just run a guaranteed +3 attack (Blessing of Might), divine shield (Hand of Protection), or +1/+1 (Divine Strength). Even windfury can be replicated in Blessed Champion (for a lot more mana)! Definitely flexible but not the lack of consistency is still significant.

Lots of spells for cycling on Gadgetzan Auctioneer or growing your Biteweeds and Questing Adventurers, but rogues still probably have a lot of other better options.

Rogues like cheap spells for Gadgetzan Auctioneer, but there's so many other good options out there, even with the loss of Tomb Pillager's coins.

Really solid card in murloc decks that could even see play in a curator deck for just being a normal statline with a sometimes bonus.

Really weird card that helps your board stay alive, but by turn 5 you might either be snowballing as a zoo or stamped out by removal.

Incremental healing/armor for anti-aggro. Outside of a hyper-aggressive metagame this is much worse than Shield Block.

Just be careful not to discard your Cruel Dinomancer!

Violet Teacher+++ for buff decks. As limited as Djinni of Zephyrs, and can't make wishes come true with Potion of Madness/Shadow Madness like the Djinni can. Very strong, but very specific uses.
