Why on Earth does a Klaxxi minion have synergy with C'Thun when the Old God they worshipped was Y'Shaarj?
The Hearthstone devs didn't play Mists of Pandaria or something?
The Klaxxi were driven by the corruption of the Sha. They worshiped *all* of the old gods.
"I tell you now, because you have earned this warning.Your gods are not our gods, outsider. If the Old Ones ever return, we mantid will once again stand by their side. The wisest among you will do the same."
Sounds like someone didn't play Mists of Pandaria themselves.
I'm surprised by how much I like this card back. It makes me hope Hogger becomes playable in Standard with the rotation. Of course the downside to that happening (aside from a much slower format) is that I would then have to go craft Hogger...
Since hogger is in the classic set, he will be playable in Standard.
So... I understand that "We introduce new awesome Standard mode" can be just directly translated into "We have no fucking idea how to balance few OP cards like Dr. 7", am I right?
Nope. It's directly translated into: This is the best way MTGs balance metas, so we're going to start doing it to.
When we start seeing (or hearing about) strictly better expert level cards (like a 3/3 for 2 that does 2 random damage whenever a minion is played, or a 7/7 for 6 that summons two 2/1 boombots that do 4 - 8 damage on deathrattle randomly) then that's when powercreep is a problem.
They could release a set that's strictly "good versions of bad basic cards" (as opposed to "still bad versions of basic cards a la evil heckler/icerager") and I wouldn't have a problem with it.
When they start releasing Dr. Kaboom and Sword Juggler, that's when i'll worry.
I don't like that you get animated portrait when you buy a skin even if you don't have 500 ranked wins. Seems pretty lame if it stays that way. Why would someone grind wins for an animated portrait when you can just give 10 bucks and have it easy way. They should have made it that you get animated version if you have 500 wins, otherwise it's normal...
Gold hero power is why I did. I didn't care about the animated portrait in the slightest.

Yea. You have to win to progress. Tieing isn't winning.

Maybe. It's possible for minions to take more damage than they have health. I wonder how that'll translate for this card.

The fact that it's made out of moving parts and electricity/steam and not magic.
