But I do love a good anti-capitalist rant.

Don't get me wrong - I don't want to nationalise everything.  I'm not a socialist.

Why would I choose exploitation by the state over exploitation by the economy?

On a capitalist economic model - especially when you are on the stock market and subject to the fluctuations of stock prices - the priority is necessarily the growth of the company. Any decision that is in the interests of the customer base is only made with reference to this priority. It is sad but true.

We can complain about blizzard and apple and amazon all we want but essentially they are doing exactly what they are meant to do - make money for their owners - whether they be the shareholders or a private group. Their behaviour will only change when it is more profitable to do so.

But we are consumers are caught in a position where it is difficult to refuse these companies our custom if we want to be a part of the world - choosing between google and apple is not a meaningful choice.  They have us by the short and curlies.  Essentially, it is one of the many reasons why it is easier to imagine the end of the world than it is the end of capitalism.

I'm no apologist but you can't really compare the evils of capitalist companies.

They are just playing the game and doing it well.

It is the system that legally demands it of them that is the problem.

I agree, pushing is not the answer but sometimes it is too much to expect someone to have the strength not to push back.

My point is that violence does not occur from a vacuum, it is a response - and many of the people, here and elsewhere, that are quick to denounce BLM and its participants as violent reactionaries need to recognise that the violence - as much as the protests themselves - are a reaction to the unjustness of society.  It cannot be used as an argument against BLM, it is further proof that something is categorically wrong with the structure of society.

While I agree that conversation is necessary for education and that it is detrimental to simply shut people up, I must say it is tiresome to repetitively explain why something is racist.  How much patience must oppressed minorities be expected to have?  You push me and you push me and you push me, eventually I am going to snap and shut you up.  I cannot say that I surprised that this is what happens.  I want to shut you up already and I have only read one ignorant thing that you have written.

Just to be clear statistics are not facts.  In fact they are very different.  The former indicate information and must be analysed and interpreted.  The latter, in any even exist (I am more of a believer in Dewey's warranted assertability in I am honest) are statements that are true.  If a study suggests an IQ differential it is not a statement of fact.  It is an invitation for analysis of the data and one that I would argue is the result, not of natural inequality, but of social inequality.  Let us not forget there is an IQ differential between class and gender as well.  Social inequality is the result of an unequal, unjust and oppressive state of affairs.  There must be consequences of it.  One of them, unsurprisingly, is that the oppressors score well by the terms they've have defined.  Well whoopdy f@cking doo!!

The question to ask is why, not to take it as proof of existing prejudice and assert it as justification for that prejudice.

I don't even know where to begin.  It is a list of excuses and rationalisations.  None of which would hold up to scrutiny.

I don't know why I have singled you out.  It was the first comment that I saw I suppose but I want to have a educative conversation with people and I read this stuff and it is assertions upon assertions.

It can easily be seen as inconsistent for blizzard to support BLM but kow to China, but it is important to remember that Blizzard are a capitalist organisation within a capitalist system that they have no interest in undermining.  But, then I think a strong argument against capitalism should be developed in response to the inconsistency, as many people are doing.  Many people, especially within the critical race theory movement, are arguing that racism is intimately tied to capitalism and to solve the former the latter must be dismantled.

So in response to your curious bullet pointed list. 1) why is that relevant? Partnerships and cooperatives are legitimate business models that are less aligned to a thoroughgoing captialism. 2) Noone either begins or ends with blizzard, it is a demand that should be made of all private business. 3) Noone either begins or ends with China, most countries across the world are controlled undemocratically by oppressive economic systems that must be dismantled. 4) Nonviolent strategies are proven to be both effective and efficient in overcoming oppression. Also, as an aside, this is an abhorrently ignorant thing to say. 5) What is the NSFW?  Why is it relevant?  That business operates largely outside of political pressure is arguably problematic and a weakening of any claim of democratic governance, because, let us not forget, our elected officials are not unresponsive to the demands of business - this creates a one directional relationship.

Forgive me for picking on you. I realise that you haven't intended to spell out a clear idea and you responding to a pretty naive comment because it is not in blizzards interests to challenge the authority of their business affiliates, but your comment was complete nonsense.

I had a bug with the Doppelgangster and the treasure to buff a card by +4/+4 and cost 2 more.  It didn't buff the copies.

Is this a known bug?

That's interesting because on the HSReplay it shows the minion on the board being buffed by the deathrattle but then it disappears is replaced by a brief flash of Ethereal Arcanist before that dies.

In this game I just played I got a weird interaction that I can't understand.

I played my Shudderwock and it started rotating through the battlecries.  I saw it cast a big bad voodoo on my other card (curtesy of an earlier Horror) and then it played the Hagatha deal three damage battlecry killing the deathrattle minion, but I got nothing in return.

I looked at the replay and I makes no sense to me.
