posted a message on Constant-Type Cards

Just a quick question: why did Blizzard decide to not have constants  in the game? I know secrets kind of act as both, but they don't have the control required for some ideas to be implemented.

I understand that quick actions may be more intimidating to a new player, and so they are intentionally not included, but I'd disagree on the similar treatment of constants/supports.

It feels like Blizzard has to contort cool ideas to fit the current rules of the game unnecessarily.

    Does anybody know?

posted a message on Rebalancing and Creating Basic Set Cards. Asking for Opinions

    Hi Everybody.

Card design has always been a hobby that seemed like good fun. Theorycrafting, balancing, creating counters and archetypes, etc. Also, I've always been saddened by the lack of playability of Basic cards, and how this is due to the steady increase of average power level for cards in Hearthstone. Since I have a long weekend for Easter, I figured I'd finally give the card creation stuff a shot. So, I've redesigned and added a few cards into what would be a part of the Basic set, and I was wondering what the community thinks in regards to overall design and balance.

I've only made 19 neutral cards so far, including spells and 1 secret. I'm pretending neutral spells and secrets are possible (because they are *cough*). This is also my first time posting, so sorry if the formatting comes off rough.

    Without further ado:

I created a little family of exploration-party-themed cards, with the tag "Adventurer" for minions; a neutral tribe.

    Three tokens:

    Eh?
