I prefer arena. The rewards are better than the value of buying packs with gold. Blizz makes cards from the new set more likely to appear when a new set releases, so you get to try the new cards without owning them. You can build your set AND play the cards so it's a win/win.
The downside is that there is no better time to test new deck ideas than when new cards are added to the game, and arena certainly takes longer to collect several cards from the set. Personally, I prefer for the constructed meta to shake out and I can netdeck how to spend my dust. Others prefer to spend up-front and try to create their own viable decks. Depends which kind of player you are.
Probably Blade Flurry seems like an interesting choice since it's so weak that no one uses it, maybe lower the mana cost...say to two mana, also hitting face would be interesting too!Wouldn't be too strong since rogues never got a SINGLE GODDAMN WEAPON EVER, What the fuck blizzard if you are gonna nerf shit give something in return at least!
I agree, it seems like one of the 2 nerfs they gave it - cost or not hitting face - would have been fine. Both just made it so bad, especially in a post-Sharpsword Oil world where huge weapons are much harder to come by.

Dispatch Kodo and Rat Pack combos are very powerful. Personally I like:
Dispatch Kodo + Duskboar =
6 mana 6/5 w/ Battlecry: deal damage equal to this minion's attack
So basically a Fire Elemental with double the battlecry.
