Fool yourself all you want but reality is the skillcap is very low in Heartstone, it's really unrepresented in a "competitive" game in current meta. Skill doesn't matter much, most plays are obvious and pretty auto-pilot, no matter how much people argue against it. Everyone has all usable cards and everyone uses the same decks anyway if you are lucky you win if not your opponent wins. Moreover when it comes the fact that a card game is inherently RNG heavy and no matter how "skilled" you are, a huge portion comes from the luck element, more than any other game.
Plus Heartstone has many RNG cards that amplify that. How dumb it is to take Heartstone seriously and accredit any value to "skill" can be seen by the fact that these RNG moments so called e-Sports. So yeah, skill makes for a pretty low portion of success, once you are at a certain level. Of course you will be punished if you missplay every turn, but like I said you need to understand the basic of the game which is pretty easy.
This statement cannot possibly be true. If it were, then why would we be seeing many of the same faces, at the larger tournaments that blizzard hosts?
WIth Hearthstone Esports being (at the very least) a thing, and with this game coming up on its 3rd birthday, how is there not a tournament style playlist in the Hearthstone client?
And by tourney style i mean, players each que in 4 decks and play conquest style.
I think a huge complaint these days is the jade beats reno, reno sometimes beats aggro, and aggro shaman beats everything meta. This is alleviated in some ways through tournament style play. I also feel that it can be more exciting to see how there are more tech cards in tourney play because you might be queuing a deck to counter another one or something.
IDk, i just want to know, how is this not a thing?
I don't actually know what you're asking specifically...never accused your grammar either. Just makes it harder to understand when you're using cool kid lingo.
Made some graphical changes to my post in the quote above. Does that help?
It's like no one knows how to speak coherently now. Just LULz, hashtags, and abbreviations for anything you want.
Ask your question without using the word "thing" please and thank you.
There is nothing grammatically incorrect about my question. Maybe it's not specific enough for you. But clearly you understand what im asking, so with that, thank you for the value you've added to this discussion.

I found there not to be enough buffs in the deck to make rat pack or dispatch kodo worth it. Loot hoarder is just 2 mana draw a card these days as 1 damage is very easy in this meta, I don't get tracking in a reno deck as you only have 1 of everything, might throw infested Tauren in there instead of the bear trap but I prefer curves that are heavier on the low end in the current meta.
Explosive trap is powerful vs both shaman and warrior aggro. and freezing trap can punish 4 mana 7/7's or frothing's. Zipgunner is another deathrattle and a solid body and +2+2 can be powerful on cards like tundra rhino or kindly grandmother. Mistress is again another deathrattle and the healing can help forgive some of the early aggro.
I was able to beat a Reno Warlock even after his dirty rat got my N'zoth. Cotw is still a very powerful card.
Am 6-3 with this deck so far and have piloted it from rank 13-rank 11 tonight. Wins against every archetype except for jade druid and dragon priest and rogue. Beat Pirate warrior, aggro shaman, jade shaman, reno lock, reno mage. WIth losses to Reno mage, Dragon priest and rogue.
Do not understand the need for prep or huckster in this deck. Your highest cost spell is eviscerate so prep is pretty useless. Otherwise, this is very similar to a deck I've been running now for a while. I would:
Also, Priest has one of the better Hero Powers that enable his minions to keep trading, the class' problem are it needing the right cards at the right time all the time and not having enough strong minions to control the board with.
In what deck does Priest reliably take advantage of healing its minions with the hero power? Currently none. Dragon priest was your best bet. The problem is priest has no good 1/2 drops to use that hero power on.
If you would have cared to read the rest of the sentence you responded to (the only thing you responded to, there was more to my post) You would see I had addressed that the very lack of minions to heal is his problem.
That makes its hero power bad. I am framing this in the context of the current meta. As everything always should be. Sure priests hero power is amazing if you give them a 2 mana 2/7. But its not right now for that very reason. I dont understand why you are taking such offense to what im saying and getting so agressive, I am just trying to foster a conversation on the impacts of the core set on the current meta.
If Shaman's core set is better than Hunter and Warrior, then why it was a joke class for the past 2 years while Hunter and Warrior were top tier? Shaman became good thanks to the latest 2 expansions (before Kara).
Which leads me to this post. I'm not saying shamans core set is better than hunter or warrior, all the data is showing is that shaman relies on its core set more than other decks do. I am not saying that is a good or a bad thing. Nor am i saying one is better than the other.

"Can I replace...?" - No. I've played this deck for 2 seasons and in my opinion this is the strongest version - OP
KFT been out less than a month, yet hes been playing for 2 seasons, seems legit.

Defender of argus feels like a dead card in most circumstances.

Playing this deck but with a few changes.
-Rat Pack, Powershot, Tracking, Dispatch Kodo, Infested Tauren, Loot Hoarder,
+ Bear Trap, Explosive Trap, Freezing Trap,Shaky Zipgunner, Barnes, Mistress of Mixtures,
