Right, but the problem is that this game is setup such that your opponent's board will be stronger most games, and Warrior can just brawl/remove everything.
Disagree all you want, doesn't change the fact that the version with only 1 was at 97 legend.
While it's trivial that a 5/5 for 1 is good, a 1/1 for 1 is trash, and that's what will often happen if you include 2, since one will sit in your hand and you'll draw the other one. So, you'll mostly only get to play one of them as a 5/5 anyways, and having another one decreases the chances of getting it as a 5/5 at all.
Sea giants also exist, he was running 2 of those because they're good even if drawn later on.
I think it was Sjow using R. Seeker last night - might have been someone else.
But he was 97 legend with a zoo using it. People are talking about board wipes, but the reality is that the token generation of warlock is superb.
He was only playing one copy - this makes sense because it is a situational card, and having two of them in your hand is bad because inevitably one will be a 1/1. He was playing Sea Giant*2 as well as gormok the impaler.
For an offensive deck like aggro druid, a 3/2 is better than a 2/3. Harvest golem doesn't trade up as well, while mounted raptor can often trade down just as well as it trades up thanks to it getting a superior 1 drop.
I think you underestimate him. I play him in Dragon Priest, shield him from harm with Agent, drop him turn 3, play Twilight Guardian as a 4/6, then Azure Drake draws me another card, and then people just concede.
He's just far too potent and versatile to be labeled "Meh" tier.
Brann has been a beast so far. Basically, I just made this deck to be a nice generalist deck with some emphasis on anti-aggro, especially aggro druid with Fel Reavers, hence the BGH. This also improves the control matchup - so the Fel Reaver is a blessing in disguise in that you get to have an anti-aggro deck that's better tuned to control. Same goes with Dr. Balanced in any aggro deck.
But Brann, he can snowball, hiding behind Wyrmrest Agents and Twilight Guardians. At worst he's a 2/4 for 3, which, if you're really unlucky on your draw, can still save your ass against an aggro deck before a Guardian.
Things he improves:
Twilight Whelp
Shrinkmeister
Wyrmrest Agent
BGH (Kappa)
Twilight Guardian
Azure Drake
Blackwing Corrupter - Suddenly this guy is throwing fireballs instead of darkbombs.
Dr. Balanced
Nefarian (This one actually becomes pretty cool, it really rounds out the bad RNG well and gives you a lot of value)
Overall, this has been a really fun, yet fairly easy and powerful deck to play.
Please tell me that wasn't you who down-voted me just because you disagree with me.
Anyways, control paladin could take any number of forms with this card. One that has an emphasis on healing could be quite useful. Priest hero power has always been good, and can be used on minions, so it would be favored over warrior.
All decks of various forms can find new synergies.
This is what I hate, actually. So many people bash a new card because they have no idea how to construct new decks or how cards will actually interact with each other. Just like a bunch of pro players bashed Reno Jackson, someone rated it a 2/10, and what happened? We get a top 5 legend player with a Reno Jackson centered deck.
And, I know you'll just say "well, warrior is set up for that sort of thing" but the thing is, if you had the foresight to see that already you'd never have bashed it in the first place.

Or living roots.

Raptor is a stealth buff to Shadow Madness.
Great deck though. I love the break from Oil into something that you've clearly demonstrated as viable.
Congratulations.

Is there any more evidence of rank? I mean, I could see this deck doing well, but I have a hard time seeing that much consistency to hit #1 overall.
I don't mean to say that you didn't get it, but I just want that added confidence.

Not to mention, a 97 legend player using it... Lol.

Yeah, I noticed that in a game.
Just not the "silence it because of the effect only."
Silencing follow the rules is probably one of the best slaps in Uther's face.

Why would you silence Fel Reaver as an aggressive deck?

I'm happy just to be able to make an even more top-heavy deck because we get another good late-game legendary.

Read the text of Naga Sea Witch.
Still, keeping that thing alive is optimistic at best.
