Okay, I'm having a ton of fun with this card. Hands down the best astral communion card, and along with forbidden ancient, communion druid is a real thing.
People are just so accustomed to thinking of big cards with no immediate effect as bad -- and honestly, they have been up until now.
However, those are exactly the cards you would want to put into a Y'Shaarj deck, so many players are having trouble seeing how to build such a thing. There's this big, collective blind spot where the community tends to ignore the cards that have been deemed "unplayable."
It's like a stuffy old aunt who won't acknowledge the black sheep distant cousin: "We don't talk about him."

Obviously, the other two Old Gods we've seen require that you build the entire deck around them. Why is everyone assuming that this one should be good as a standalone?
Yes, the effect ruins Charge and Battlecry, and delays end-of-turn effects. So in order to get the most out of a Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound deck, I guess you would include mainly vanillas, deathrattles, aura minions and spells. I haven't tried yet, but I feel like something reasonable can be made with those specifications.
Just trying to ram this guy into your current control deck is the laziest of lazy thinking. You make yourself look foolish if all you can do is come up with reasons why it won't work.
The problem is is that right now there aren't enough cards to support a deck with him in it, which is the same reason why varian doesn't work.
Well, given that the only Klaxxi card we've seen is a Druid card, I'm guessing a Druid ramp would be the place to start.
The fact that Klaxxi Amber-Weaver is (somewhat illogically) buffed by C'Thun suggests that maybe they expect you to create a crazy ramp deck with both C'Thun and Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound? However, the anti-synergy between those two would have to be played around.

To all those who rushed to conclusions and didn't even have the audacity to read a card long enough to understand a wording, (mostly because most Cardstone players have never touched a card game before), where do you see the word random in this card? That ought to give you some food for thought.
"Audacity"? I don't think that word means what you think it means.
