I noticed that hearthpwn accounts will merged with twich. Now, since I don't in a country were twich is functional (none of the promotions they've done so far work for me) I don't feel like managing one more website account for basically nothing.
I was wondering if there is away within the site for me to terminate my account or if I could just wait for dec. 20 and let my account be.
dude its much better to win or loose a game in 10 minutes
than waste half an hour on a control match to see who top decks better at the end...
I... have to agree. Control just takes too long most of the time. Exaust decks or OTK decks that take long setups are boring to play and to play against.
I have conceded many times because I rather loose than spend the next 30 minutes playing against those "elite masters that must concider every single play to its ultimate possible conclusion before ending their 2nd turn". That or they might be lagging XD.
Agro is more to the point. In 45 minutes you can play over 15 matches. Some decks take that long to reach turn 9.
I was going to leave it at that but I guess that joke isnt obvious to everyone.
You might want to hold on to your legendaries because, regardless of how "bad" you might think it is, you could still use it in:
1. Wild.
2. Brawls.
3. Future Meta.
4. For giggles.
5. Etc?
People are too narrow minded about the game. All this "de everything" comes from the stand point that you arent interested in collecting the cards and will only ever play standard and absolutely nothing else ever again no matter what. Also, assumes, that the meta will never change to favor said card. Just keep your legendary. What you gonna do with the dust? craft another legendary that will get de once in rolls off standard?
So you are a competitive HS player who found out about naxx last week? Meh you just sound like a troll to me.
There´s little excuse to say "I don´t have enough gold" now. Worst case scenario you found out the day it came out at which point you got wing 1 for free. If you so desired to do the next wing and get the cards then you had a full week and some change (if you were in america) to collect 700 gold.
Remember, nax is not vanishing at the end of the week and no one is demanding that you get all the wings as they come out. If it takes you an extra week or two to get all the wings with coins, so be it.
The game works with either money or game time. You either save up coins by playing the game (which should be the point since... you are playing the game.. which should be fun to you or why would you bother) or you pay because the price is fair and you are guaranteed the rewards.
Also, a question... if you buy the wings you get the card automatic or do you still have to clear the bosses and challenges?
So far the only legendary I´ve managed to craft is Ragnaros... and it goes with everything. Nothing screams late game good old Ragnaros. I was going to craft Yisera next but I got it on a pack and then started saving gold for nax.
If it were up to me I would craft Leeroy 1st. Its one hell of a finishers and combos with plenty of spells. Thalnos is also good but I wouldnt craft it right away mainly because its one of the legendaries thats easiest to do without. Lastly Cairne is also a very strong card... can´t hardly go wrong dropping that on the board but to a lesser extent its like thalnos where its easier to do without.
Cabal priest you probably need only 1. Its awesome when it works but there since its a mid/late game card it can be dead weight to have 2 on a deck. Ancient of War is also very strong late game druid drop but it doesn´t hurt that much to not have it. Druids have plenty of big taunt minions for late game. Gorehowl is also a onesy card imo.
I would also recommend crafting some dragons (except the time one) and, if you dont have em, some giants.
Well, Idk if you are serious or not so Im going to assume you are.
Basically the Warlock Zoo deck type is a Lock deck that uses multiple low mana cost minions (3 or less) and drops them asap to do quick damage to the opponent. It combines low cost minions with minions that can buff them like the Blood Imp, Dire Wolf Alpha or Shattered Sun Cleric.
Its rather effective with locks because Warlocks hero power allows them to draw enough to let them just dump everything early on and don´t be left empty handed. Its also surprisingly good at returning after suffering some deaths to board clearing effects.
Its fast, some what cheap and rather effective so it turned out to be rather popular and used by a lot of people to sort of "farm" wins. You don´t win all the time but it has a fair win rate with short matches length and relatively easy to play. To me it feels like a coin flip, if you get lucky you´ll win by turn 6, if not you´ll probably know by turn 5 XD.
I don´t have any links to a definitive deck but I bet there are some templates if you look around on this site.
I had a teacher once who like to say (and Im sure he didnt coin the phrase): if we are going to start by assuming the initial conditions then lets just assume the results a be done with it. Im just saying.
I read all this post of "omg it takes ages to farm that much gold". I stopped saving weeks ago when I hit 3K gold. It didnt take a lifetime nor I do anything out of the ordinary. I kept doing my daily quest every day or every other day depending on what the quest was; I do reroll 40 gold quests when Im in the mood but no often; played some unranked games whenever I felt like it and then just didn´t buy any packs. We are talking about 45 mins worth of playing on average (weekends are usually more) and I hit 3K without trouble.
Remember that naxx is not out. You can start today, when it comes out you get 1 week to have to spend any gold and then 1 week intervals to get the 700 gold. And no where is written that you MUST buy EVERYTHING ASAP. Not everyone plays the game as a mad dash to the finish line.
Well the thing is that at this point whenver I open a pack what I mostly get out of it is dust. Paying for dust makes little sence to me. I rather save up the gold and play nax for free.
Looking at it as hard numbers does seem like paying for nax is more "efficient" than just saving up gold. But I assure you that real money is by far more valuable than HS coins and given the choice I will always rather save up my coins than spend a dime on the game.
The only time paying for packs made any sence to me was when I was getting started and I had a very high chance of actually get a new card out of the packs. After that, as I said, it became the equivalent of paying for dust... which has very little value considering how much of it you need to craft a legendary card.
Ragnaros. instant 8 damage to something after you play it and 8 damage every turn after.
Rag is a good call for the sheer fact that if he gets silenced he is then able to directly attack teh opponent's hero. He loses the deal 8 random damage ability, but I think the trade-off can be well worth it.
Imo, the real value comes from Rag attacking at the end of your turn. The target is random but some times it doesnt matter what it hits. You pay 8 mana to either slam your opponent or remove something, of then your opponent kills minions or uses spells to remove rag, you are at an advantage. It really is a solid card.
No card is OP on its own. Leeroy is so strong because it gets comboed with other cards to do huge bursts of damage. If you just seat there and dunk Leeroy attack with it and end turn... thats almost a bad play on to itself if you didnt lethal with it or remove some huge threat.
If anything I would say there are a few "game changing" cards. Yisera is one of them and Ragnaros can also turn the tables on any match. But any big mana cost card that can "change" the outset of a game require that you: 1. Draw the 1 copy you have on your deck. 2. Reach the end game. 3. Be in a position in which the card can turn the tides.
I remember during beta some people treated Ragnaros and other legendary cards as if they were "I win" spells. You don´t just dump them on the board and seat back. Some times it might work but I remember beating people with several legendary cards when I had only basic, common and a few rare cards.
Personal practice: Click for greetings; wait a moment for a response; silence my opponent whether I get an answer or not.
In a way emotes can throw people off and when I´m focused on a match I don´t like it.
On the other hand... people tend to judge by their condition. Just because you seat down on a quiet room giving 100% of your attention to the game trying your best to figure out the best play possible to randomly draw the cards you need to win; doesn't mean your opponent is the same. I play HS on a window right next to my browser while reading something, listening to music and some times under constant distraction from the people around me (wife and baby daughter take priority over match) so... I don´t care about your greeting.
Same thing goes for people who take the long way into a win. If you have a choice to simply attack with a minion or cast 14 spells... for the love of god, just end it.

This is like the people who watch an entire season of a netflix show in 2 days. Boy you guys are into it. XD
To be fair, had the game been running when I was having lunch I would have opened at least 70 packs.
Grats on the legends. Seems some people got low drop rates though. Rng sucks.
None. Because... reasons.

I get "more value" out of keeping my money. I can pay the bills with money but I cant with HS gold XD.
Any way, Im just glad I saved 3K gold. I can now go and buy some packs since I have some to spare. Cant wait!
Ooh, ooh... Catalyst78.
7 - 8 = -1. (8 x 2) - 1 = 15
8 - 7 = 1. (7 x 2) + 1 = 15
30 (health) / 2 (hero power cost) = 15
I love numerology; its like you can always find the right answer!
Hopefully 3K gold is enough.
