The secret was to deal as much damage to the opponent as I received, I added 3 damage before I hit, but regardless, I was afraid he took control (priest) of my 28-3 creature and hit me which would win me the game anyway.
Highest damage so far was 32 for me, infamous Lightwell Overkill.
Opponent cleared everything except my lightwell, had zero taunts on turn 6. Buffed +3 life on Turn 5, then buffed double life two times and inner fire :)
I don't have a screenshot sadly, but I hit someone for 40 with either a lightwell or an oasis snapjaw, not entirely sure. Totally unnecessary overkill, but damn it was fun!
Was probably a snapjaw though, since it has 7 health to start with, compared to lightwell's 5. could have been bigger (52), but I had used 1 PW:shield earlier :)
so i just got this hit. I did not thing to take a screen but i did silence hit C'Thun with Ironbeak Owl and hit him with full force. and he was kind enough to send me the screenshot on Imgur.com
Me and a friend was messing around the other week and we managed to get this beast
If you're manipulating it, you can go way higher than that. Have 1 person play mage or priest, and use finley on the hunter until you get the other mage/priest hero power then ping/heal it repeatedly. Or use that minion that lets hunter target minions with his hero power.
Hardest I've ever done was in a fun match playing a newish friend for the 80g quest, managed to go pretty hard on cthun priest, keeping up double elder, double hooded acolyte and double tourney medic with glory buffs for quite some time. When I finally dropped the monster cthun it was at 250+

Now that's a hell of a combo and as soon as c'thun it's win lol

One entire disappointment and a broken heart.
Something like, Blessing of Kings, Blessed Champion x2, and finished off with a Blessing of Might.
Might have used Holy Light and Hand of Protection to keep it alive but can't recall.

Brann Bronzebeard + Don Han'Cho double buff on Leeroy Jenkins + 2 x Blessing of Might + Blessed Champion (Yes , there was a thaurissan tick involved).
I don't even remember how much dmg that was honestly ...
Edit : It adds up to 44 apparently , my trusty ol' OTK control pally ...
