Isn't it kinda HS lore-breaking to see an adventure boss being an expansion card? Are there any other similar cases? Just wondering
Alot of the bosses have cards made after them and some of the BRM bosses were cards in Classic, so it might just not have been something that was done more than "lore breaking"

ok what do we know about Anub'arak's skills and possible implemtations in hearthstone?
Impale : AoE dmg + Stun ( seems unlikely since we don't have stuns in hs, mb some return enemy minion effect like sap)
Spiked Carapace : return dmg/ reduced dmg (the return dmg seems unlikely since hs attacks basically have this effect all the time; dmg reduction might be possible )
Locust Swarm: AoE-ish dmg/life leech effect (Inspire: Deal 1 dmg to all enemy minions. Heal Anub'arak by the amount dealt ; or something in this rough direction)
Web Blast (New HotS skill in addition to the previous "Crypt Lord" skills from WC3) : disable/wraps an enemy in a cocoon ( similar to 1. ... imo unlikely in the current mechanics)
As mentioned before Stealth seems very unlikely because that is only a skill the Anub'arak inspired Dota hero has and not the Cryptlord (WC3) and Anub'arak ( HotS) versions.
imo we will probably see something along the lines of 3./4. ... i highly doubt Blizzard will totally go overboard with a crazy new mechanic we haven't seen before but you never know...hopefully it will be something fun and still viable in the upcoming decks
Why is stealth unlikely? He has the burrow charge ability (even in WC3, if I remember correctly). Going underground, charging at your opponent could work (stealth/charge), perhaps even a re-stealth mechanic, could work with inspire and stuff.
He does not have burrow charge in WC3, but he does have burrow and the other 4 abilities
I would like to his card text be something on lines of:
Stealth. At the end of your turn, if this card is affected by stealth do X damage and freeze a random enemy minion, this card gains stealth. (or: do X damage to a random enemy minion, this minion gain can't attack until your next turn - HS seriously need a Stun mechanic).
It would be rogue-ish, works in a control metagame with heavy minions by disabling enemy threats and have lots of flavor with some of most iconic Anub skills, Burrow and Impale.
