Basically as of right now Rogue and Mage are completely Unbalanced! Not saying there aren't ways of sustaining through or countering both style however I just go bursted in two turns for 17 damage by a freeze mage that had maybe two minions in his deck! Yes I understand that mage = spells but against all other classes that are revolved around monsters and killing monsters how is it fair that there is only one class that isn't revolved around having monsters?
How to fix these classes? For a start make the mage firebomb, fireblast and pyra follow the taunt rule or make firebomb only to minions or something! If that is too much of a nerf which I believe would be perfect but if that is too much then buff blizzard and cone of cold to where they used to be! Please don't just come here and downvote me because you only listen to kripp and trump. Please put some thought into this and only comment if you have a ranking of 10+ or have had a ranking of that since you will know how stupid it is more then the lower ranked. This matter really does need to be addressed since it is completely rediculous lol!

Believe it or not, but having spells to follow the Taunt rule is a huge nerf. Mages like you say depend more on spells then minions. So if you have to target a Taunt with every spell your not going to do any damage. On the other hand to make all hero's minion dependent is bad idea, that affects everyone play style, which again inst fair.
Sure I don't mean make mage a minion class at all. I love the diversity however there is none with "spells" all but only one the "mage" so to me its kinda silly should be more mages or fine tune this one spell depended class to have to follow some rules.
How do you feel if only firebomb follows the taunt rule? Im trying to open a discussion not a your wrong im right scenario!

I got bursted by 20+ in a turn by a warrior, a warlock and a rogue more than once in the last week. This a TCG, not an RTS, not a MMO. Burst and combos are normal. How come you didn't force any of these removals? You can force fireballs out quite easily by playing 5HP+ minions which should be in your deck.
If you play warlock aggro, tough luck it's a bad matchup for you (which exists in TCG, deal with it).
Also, burns that go over taunts are the only point for them. If spells cannot go over them, then they are worthless as they do not give board presence and are one use only. Spell taunts is an incredibly bad idea and mage are NOT OP. Just look at the results of the high tier tournaments.
You don't like getting pyroblasted? Well, if your area of the ladder is mage dependant, go for paladin heal. Paladin heal hard counter mage decks. In a TCG, you cannot play what you feel like playing if it doesn't work. Blizz shouldn't make what you want work. You should look at the meta and play decks that wins in it, the meta shouldn't go around you.
The coin is something that can be used by all classes, it boosts 1 minion of the mage class and helps rogues. KEEP THAT IN MIND when playing them. Again, adjust to the game, not the opposite. Also, again, this is a TCG, so losing to perfect draws or topdecks is part of the game, it's frustrating but that is how it works in these type of games.

TBH I like how it is, but with that being said I mostly run Mage/Hunter/Shaman. Most of my decks don't have many tuants to begin with, I do use Mirror Images, Hound Master, and others to create taunts. So if you were to make certain spell follow the taunt rule, and they play like me, their going to hit you either way. Not only that but most people if you pressure enough, they will have to use Pyro, or Fire ball on a minion either way. I think you may have been lacking pressure tbh. I personally don't think Mages are OP, but played right are super scary.
Yeah mages can be annoying, they pull every counter under the sun and just shoot Magic at your face till your dead. They may not be overpowered but I wish there was a way to filter out Mages from my Match Finding. ^_^
Combo off the Coin really isnt that bad, Rogues are nerfed enough I feel.
Whenever I see posts like this it makes me think the original poster must solely play aggression decks and want to be able to spam their cards willy nilly on the board and win with no thought at all. I understand some people enjoy that style but counters exist for it and there are lots of people who like the control a frost mage gives or a combo rogue (myself I hate both types). The thing is to recognize that pretty much every deck has a hard counter for it and if you run into it you are probably going to lose. That being said it is a game play what you find fun but do not take it too seriously if it does not always work.

Yeah, let's homogenize the entire game so all classes play the exact same way!
No.

Mages and Rogues, Assemble to defend your class!
