Hi there! I am a newer player to Hearthstone, how much gold should i farm in order to get the most packs to build decks? Should i save up gold for Naxxramas? I don't have any legendaries at the moment either, nor do i have a high-end deck. My decks are creations of basically cards i have collected over the time i have been playing. Also, is it better to farm gold for better cards before attempting things like going for legend?
I would highly suggest working on unlocking Naxx first. If you can, its well worth the 25$. It's just loaded with so many great cards and many legendaries that are in 90% of most deck out there.
Best advice I can give you would be to play all classes to level 10, find one you like the most and do everything you can to create one highly competitive deck. Alot of people will try to make 3-4 decks at a time and get frustrated that they can't win consistently because rather than one good deck that they like to play, they have 3 half assed decks that aren't fun to play.
After making that one really good deck, I suggest saving all your dust and try only to craft legendarys. Mainly because in a few months from now, as your collection starts growing, if you're using your dust to craft greens and blues, etc. Eventually you will start getting duplicates, and when you dust your duplicates you're losing out on massive dust when it costed you 400 to craft it in the first place, your then dusting it for only 100. But if you save your dust for legendaries only, by the time your collection is starting to fill out, you will have made 1-2 legendaries that are good because you got to choose which ones to make, rather than random ones in packs that could be useless.
Also: I highly discourage you from dusting any cards you don't have 2 of. You never know what Blizzard has around the corner and what's awful currently or what you think you might not use, in a few months from now it can change. Not to mention since there are no physical cards, that could be buffed or nerfed at any time (though it doesn't happen often)
For the time being, play ladder for fun, I highly doubt you would be able to be competitive enough to reach high ranks within your first 2 months playing. HearthStone isn't like an mmorpg or such, putting more time into the game doesn't directly effect your card collection by much.
None the less, Naxx should be your first steps, try your hand in arena though until you know the game well, it's probably better to spend your gold to buy packs than trying to get packs through arena. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't just do it every once in a while for fun. When I buy packs I split them 50/50 between the original packs and GvG packs.
Hope this cleared up some questions and gives you a good direction to start. My suggestions are just that, suggestions. Ultimately its up to you to do what you want, just having fun is the important part.

So the decks i am running currently are, Aggro Mage, Priest, Hunter and Paladin. (My decks on this site) Should i just play what people consider Zoo decks until i get higher quality cards? The rank i managed to get this season is rank 15 (Yes, i know it is not so good, but it is my highest one yet!)
First : dont try legend yet you need experience and some legs/epics to reach the rank.
My advice would be to farm gold, always try to get 60 golds quests and skip the 40 golds quests. I recommend you to save for naxxramas because even with the undertaker nerf there is still lot of very good cards in this extension (loatheb, haunted, mad scientist, KT...)
When I started I only farmed gold and also did some arena runs to improve and saved gold for naxx. Once you finished naxx you can start buying some packs or do more arena to get enough dust to craft a competitive decks and try to climb.
Hunter and Zoolock would be the cheapest and easiest decks to start with, and they perform decently (Zoo is probably better)
Aggro MechMage isn't that expensive, aside from Antonidas. You can play MechMage without it, but it's not even close to as effective.
Paladin requires some pretty expensive Epic cards to run well so thats probably not achievable for you ATM.
Priest can be decent and relatively cheap to start with, but for it to be very competitive it needs to expensive cards too.
Really, try not to look at what other people say the cheapest or best to start with is, if you don't like the class/deck... Even if it's very strong, you still won't do well with it.
Just pick something your really enjoy the playstyle, then start souping it up. Like and classic car ^.^ Start with it as crap, and peice by peice make it your own and much stronger. This game takes time.

We need a Youtube show called 'Pimp My Deck' where we get a pro HS player to look at community decks and suggest improvements XD
The Priest deck looks pretty damn good, you seem to have most of the key cards. (When you get Naxx unlocks you will definitely want to put in Loatheb and possibly Kel'Thuzad)
The Hunter isn't bad, looks interesting, not FaceHunter but not Control, somewhere in the middle.
The Pally is missing some pretty key cards, equality, muster, quartermaster, maybe a SoJustice. BoMight and HoProt aren't normally run, but without know what cards you do have... it looks alright.
Overall your Priest deck is probably the strongest.

I agree with others with this. Get naxx as it is pretty cost efficient in terms of getting legendaries. Practice Arena and watch Arena players as that is the best outlet for free to play success in my opinion. You turn your gold into more gold and other rewards! Getting legend takes a lot of time and determination, more so than success in the arena I find. Move on to the ladder once you've made plenty of gold from arena play.
Hmm actually I main vayne but this name looked funny ^^
For your decks I don't think that this pala will do great in ladder. Pala requries many epics/leg that even I couldn't afford atm. Hunter and priest seems quite solid. I'm currently enjoying playing a mid-range hunter at rank3 and it goes pretty well the deck is kinda solid currently but I have some legs in it (boom ofc and loatheb) and I feel that this deck is way better with those cards.
I also forgot to mention sludge belcher in good naxx cards, and they are very damn good ^^ Also the naxxarmas shadow is awesome.
My advice to start the game is to start with a rush, so your games will be faster and you'll win gold faster. I started to play zoo for 1 month or so and reached the 500 wins warlock only with zoo because I didn't had any good cards to play any more intersting deck. BUT for zoo you really need Haunted creeper and Nerubian Egg so go to naxx !
GL :)
Ehehehe I main Annie. Exploder of Vayne's across the land!
1) Do buy Naxx with money, unless you do 100% free2play. 2) If you want to spend more real money, buy as much classic packs as you feel comfortable with. 3) Read arena guides!! If you do "decent arena", like an average of 3:3, do Arena, if you got the time. 4:3 / 5:3 is already quite good, keep improving! If you get close to 7:3 on avg, def. do "infinite arena".
3a) If you can do infinite arena, buy classic packs with all other gold. 3b) If you do decent arena, buy 1 classic pack for each arena run. Classic cards are still more important and harder to get than GvG-cards.
4) If you plan on crafting something and if you spend real money from time to time, spend that real money first. Spending 1600 dust and buy the same card some days later, is shit.
5) Only craft Classic Legendarys. Try to get GvG-Legendarys from arena.
6) If you get more and more commons and rares, you will start getting more dust. Dont craft commons and rares at all, unless you need that 1 card to finish a deck, you will play a decent amount of time.
7) If you like to, make a database or a speadsheet with all viable cards you miss. Auto-sum the dust cost for classic and gvg-Cards. You will maybe notice a value of missing classic cards worth 25.000 dust and GvG another 20.000. Compare this to the value you get from opening 1 pack and try to be as efficient as possible with all you do.
8) When you reach the point, where you have only epics and legendarys missing, make a priority list for the cards you miss. Keep in mind: Craft classics first, open gvg packs from arena. Maybe connect the priority list with your spreadsheet - this will be encouraging and you can imagine when to reach the next goal.
9) Have fun and enjoy the decks you can finally use!

I go along with everything "veiled" said, very good advices man, I only disagree with the deck: Isn't a face hunter cheaper and better right now than Zoo?! - actually there is no viable high-level post Undertaker build out there... Hell, even a Midrange Hunter could work without Boom (and be better than Zoo anyway)
One argument fo Zoo could be long term though: It will probably come back, given they print another quality one drop and the main advantage of zoo surly is, that it probably never will use any legendary because of doomguards... but this discussion is highly "academic", I suppose ... so:
1) Do buy Naxx with money, unless you do 100% free2play. 2) If you want to spend more real money, buy as much classic packs as you feel comfortable with. 3) Read arena guides!! Bought Naxx, and with the cards from that Doing daily quests got a lot easier.

You probably cannot farm enough for that, at least not in the short term. If you do not want to invest real money in the game, your only chance is to quickly become an arena master and go on infinite arenas for a few months.
Without at least one complete top-tier deck, do not dream about being a legend player. You will need to have all the cards for the chosen deck and a few tech cards to finetune it based on what you face. There are plenty of people out there having all the necessary cards trying to reach legend and I do not think you can afford to play suboptimal decks.
From my experience getting the first two wings of Naxxramas is really worth while. Then, with the gold you'll earn over time I would recommend just spending it in the arena. You don't need to go 12-0 every time, getting at least 3 wins or above is already profit as you get a card pack and some bonus gold and sometimes dust. Over a few months period, you should have a decent amount of cards and gold. If you have duplicates that you don't need, its best to just disenchant them and such. Naxxramas doesn't take that long to do, as if you do your hidden quests you should have it by your first 2 weeks of playing. That's all I could say right now, but good luck!
I know it's already been said but I would highly suggest reading Arena Guides and improving your ability to turn gold into more gold via arena runs. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'd say getting good at arena is the fastest way to building a collecting starting out new.
And this has already been said too but I'd 100% agree with the advice to never disenchant cards that you don't have 2 of. I made that mistake early on saying "well I'll never play <insert class I don't like>" and would disenchant all their cards. HIGHLY regretted that later on once I continued to expand my card collection.
