ya know, you're not wrong. I noticed that playing Tip the Scales Pally now significantly benefits by going 2nd, coinng Prismatic Lens, then turn 4 Tip the Scales. That being said I disagree. I like the way it is and I don't believe it needs a change, unless someone proposes something better I'm in for same old coin.
I would like to get rid of the coin too. The downside of the second player will be corrected by having 1 more card in the mulligan. They should just stick with that.
No, overall going first is such a big advantage that even with coin and 4 cards the second player is still slightly unfavored in the majority of the matchups

The player going first has *always* had an advantage. It grows and shrinks a bit, but the coin is generally not powerful enough.
id like it if the coin was neither a minion nor a spell
