So im trying to download the new patch but my pc keeps saying its a virus and removes it. This has never happened before and my phone works just fine. What to do?

I uninstalled (and removed the files manually) and installed again : same thing

My bitdefender also complained. Then I switched it off, re-installed the update, switched Bitdefender on again and took the 1 file out of the quarantine folder which he moved in there after switching it on again. Finally I let Bitdefender restart my PC (letting him do the cleanup of the files he moved to quarantine when he was on during the update) and now it works.
This happened to me last week using McAffe. I went to HS Support forums in Battle.net and found the workaround there. I had to restore the false positive file and have McAffe ignore it. It's the Anti-Virus' fault, not Blizzards.

If it's windows defender that causes problems - turn it off and get a real antivirus.
