can we just commemorate that every time the community denotes something is gonna be bad, or too op, they've been wrong?
Yogg,
Quest Rogue
Pirate Warrior/Aggro shaman dying;
etc.
my main question being: Why does this happen? is it simply misconsidering all the other cards that will be in a standard set, or does the problem lie deeper in the community?
Part of it is the matrix we live in. It's like a meme that rogue id's always given cramp and inevitably some "body" will pipe in and restart the meme machine.

Thats blatantly false.
Blatantly false? Almost everyone was saying yogg was the shittiest legendary ever and yet, lets just look at how bad it shook things up.
Everyone said quest was gonna be crap, and with no conceal miracle was gonna die. Neither was true.
Everyone thought paladin was still gonna be crap this expansion, yet it is one of the better classes to play now.
Everyone said pirate warrior was going to die this expansion, so why do still see them 1i n every 5 matches, largely unchanged by the existence of gluttonous ooze and golakka crawler.
Because anyone who complains about Rogue doesn't know how to play Rogue.
I'm not complaining about rogue, I'm asking why the community fails its analysis consistently, and this isn't a thread to insult people, its a legitimate question, I like classes being viable, I just don't understand why everyone else leans on pre-determined "facts" of their own to deem a class good or bad.

Because they don't play Rogue, but they have a compulsive desire to make their opinions heard despite not having any knowledge of the subject at hand. It's just how the Internet works.

I was just looking at community compendium of journey to un'goro. Damn, community was never so wrong in predictions. In previous 2-3 compendiums there were some bad predictions like menagerie warden and enchanted raven will rule the meta and yogg won't see any play but in un'goro half of predictions were wrong. Top 3 cards by rating were stampede, dinomancy and spiritsinger umbra lol

This is completely untrue. We may get some things wrong, but this is a very pessimistic view. In general, the community does a pretty good job determining the viability of a class or card: we thought elemental shaman would be good, for example. We may get some wrong, but that is to be expected without the ability of playtesting.

I just instaconcede vs Rogue, cause its not fun to play against. Yeah, i could win, but i have no fun so i just skip the match every time

Make the Card: The biggest thread on the site!
My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.

Rogue is strong but boring as hell. For me boring=bad. Easy.

Pirate warrior didn't lose any cards....who thought it was going to die?
...anyone?

The comunity is made of angry and winy babyes, thats why
because people underestimate the power of consistency and always judge rogue card in vacuum
