I think it's fairly obvious that the nerfs were not intended to slow down the meta entirely, but to slow down aggro and aggro alone. I'm sure these nerfs will allow the much slower decks to see a lot more competitive play in standard.
They haven't slowed down aggro shaman at all. Aggro shaman decks are only losing Crackle in Standard play.

Not all aggro decks needed to be slowed, and you always need a hyper aggro deck. It's just not going to be hunter or paladin anymore.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
1) People jump in to try new cool cards. People who care about result will try Cthun decks. People who care about fun try Yogg Saron decks. But then...
2) Both types of players get smashes in the face by SMOrc fiesta. The shitstorm begins. Only aggro prevails.
Every card pretty much has been for making the game more slow. Popular aggro cards were nerfed. Aggro is hurt tremendously by Naxx/Gvg leaving.
I don't know how people are cominig to their conclusions. Look at tempostorm. These are the tier 1 decks according to them.
#1 Deck: Concede Mage: Super slow deck
#2 Deck: Zoolock: Aggro
#3 Deck Midrange Druid: Mid range
#4 Control Warrior: Slow control
#5 Grim Patron Warrior: Control/Combo
Seems people want aggro to be extinct or something. Aggro will always be more popular though, you know why? Well speed of games for one, two most control decks are many times more expensive to make.
For the OP: But Heartpwn should do these kind of prediction contest topics that would award, packs or some of a reward. Because be honest, if you get tier 1 and 2 right with this list, you would get mad stacks on every other betting site.
