I wish I had done this on the PC and not the ipad. no screenshot of the beastly board, but basically I equality wiped his full board with all the combo pieces in hand, healed myself and cast Redemption, then next turn did the combo plan. The secret saved me from losing to Blizzard. So thankful for that. Anyway, here is the deck:
I had 70 damage on the board turn 10. You can more easily 1 turn 45 dmg Sapphiron with this Paladin deck. After failing for an hour with mage (had no pyroblast), warrior(no garrosh, brawl, etc), and hunter, I made this and won the 4th mulligan.
Mulligan Strategy: concede after turn 2 until you have Blessing of Wisdom. 1 or 2.
Strategy: Use Blessing of Wisdom to draw your combo cards or maintain board control until turn 10+ combo time. Cast Feugen and Stalagg turn 10+. With 2x Blessed Champion, that is 55 damage. If you play them separately and get Thaddius out turn 9 (for turn 10), you can still do 44 damage with him and then use your weapons for the 1 or 4 damage, another OTK option. Obviously, you don't have to do all the damage in one turn. Redemption saved me because Sapphiron cast Blizzard on the 2x Thaddius turn, but killed the 1 health Stalagg, allowing me to kill him with the 3rd Thaddius while the other 2 were frozen.
I couldn't try. I'm missing the key weapons for Hunter, as well as cards from the Mage and Warrior decks. Pally seemed my only option other than buying packs or getting RNGeezus to help me. The Paladin's control plus draw seemed strong. Equality and Consecration benefit from triggering when you want (if Hunter is running Mad Scientist).
Thanks for this, i managed to get him down after a good 20 tries or so. This deck is really dependent on luck on the first few turn, if he doesn't play the Mana Wyrm so that you can make use of your Blessing of Wisdom you're pretty much screwed. Since i didn't have all the cards for the mage and hunter decks i just went with this.
I did Heroic Sapphiron with a mage. Feugen and Stalagg with Duplicate gave me multiple instances of Thaddius. Plenty of board control with Frost Novas, Blizzards and Flamestrikes. I was also able to preserve my own minions with Ice Lance by freezing them after they attack, making them immune to Sapphiron's breath for a turn.
It still took me a few tries but overall, pretty easy fight even on Heroic.
The first few turns are key, I agree. I didn't cast my two blessings until turn 5 oddly enough, but I did use a redemption, an egg, 2 humilities and 1 peacekeeper by that time to reduce damage. I'm glad it worked eventually.

I might've given up on this type of deck too early, but I would just get face blasted for 16 after my blizzards and flamestrikes, so the cheap heals that paladin has definitely made a difference for me.

The idea was to play Blessing of Wisdom on a small creature, but no chance presented itself (Faerie Dragon and Dancing Swords were all he played).

Until you can combo, control the board using Nerubian Egg and 1 Redemption (save the other one for Feugen/Stalagg, your weapons and equality. Hammer of Wrath and Unstable Ghoul can be useful if you don't want to kill the Blessing of Wisdom enemy.
Combos: Cast Humility on a strong creature and then apply 2x Blessing of Wisdom. That way it can survive Unstable Ghoul and Consecration until you draw what you need.
Equality and Unstable Ghoul (chosen over Wild Pyromancer for multiple uses with 1 card vs 2 cards needed)
I find it easier to do with hunter. Less dependent on luck.
