Got a question for the knowing, well a series of questions.
It appears to me that the game was built with an inherit Rock Paper Scissors element.
One solid deck beats another which has a weakness exploited by still another, ad infinitum or at least until the end of the Year of the Mighty Kraken. My question applies to Standard format obviously.
So in this roundabout, is any deck the proverbial shotgun?
Which class of minions has the greatest advantage now ? I'm playing with a pretty good Paladin Murloc deck and my Hunter Beast is a second best, but there's something better and ... I wanna know what it is. :-)
It happens... basically you're looking for the deck that, if teched against, will make all other decks far worse in general. Currently aggro shaman holds a nice spot like that; it's not a hard deck to design against, it's just that you'll suck against everything else.
Theories like these go out the window on higher (worse) ranks tho, where a lot of people will just play whatever (and are, strangely, largely correct in doing so).
It appears incorrectly, then. It's more like LoL, than it is RPS. Champion A is what everybody uses for a while, then somebody finds a counter for that, then Champion C is used against Champion B, forever and ever until your back to square one, or a an entirely new type of deck is made. There isn't something perfect against everything, because every deck can have a chance to beat another, even if it has a weakness.
@GanonTARDIS --- That was a given for me, actually, flavor of the month and all that, I figured it was such. I'm not talking about the magic bullet, but are you saying there is no actual real advantageous deck, just a shuffling around of OP decks and then the counter decks to beat them and vice versa ad nauseum?
