What about a counter to all the deathrattles? This secret would have synergy with your Savannah Highmane (getting an additional two Hyenas). It would also feed of your enemy's deathrattles.
Waiting in the Shadows Spell Cost: 2 Secret. If a deathrattle is triggered, summon a 2/3 Plague Hound.
Plague Hound Minion Cost: 2 Whenever a deathrattle is triggered, add that deathratte to this minion. 2 / 3 Beast.
Although this is a good idea, I think it's too complicated. Maybe forget the secret and just make it the minion.
I really hope Hunter's new card is NOT a secret, as Hunter secrets are already quite good. I think the minion pool is still quite poor and some "solid" 2, 3 or 4 mana Beast is needed. Give it Deathrattle and it should fit in Naxxramas' theme.
Crazy Idea: 3 mana 2/3. Deathrattle: Put a copy of a random Secret in your hand.
Crazy Idea: 3 mana 2/3. Deathrattle: Put a copy of a random Secret in your hand.
I don't think that card would see any play, unless the random secret does not come out of your deck which essentially would give you 31-32 cards in your deck. Even with that though I think it would be underwhelming cause it's not great stats for a 3-drop, you still have to pay 2 mana for the secret, you lose tempo by playing secrets until they proc and that doesn't guarantee you make up for the lost tempo and the secret you get is random so you might not like the one you got.

I meant it to be a *new* Secret, not one of your deck. So the Tempo loss would be similar to Duplicate. Stats can be adjusted of course.

Plaguehound Cost 3 Battlecry: Gain the Deathrattles of all minions in play. 3 / 3 Beast
Simpler, same basic effect, and also a "solid" body. Similar to the Blood Knight, it can have synergy (Loot Hoarder / Leper Gnome / Savannah Highmane) with your deck, while also being a counter to an opponent's deck.
Expedition Lackey Cost 4 Battlecry: Destroy a Beast to gain its attack and health. 4 / 2
The Hunter card doesn't have to be a beast. I was going for an awkward attack / health distribution on this one.
Vigilant Guard (rare) Hero: Priest Cost: 4 Minion 0/5 Taunt. Deathrattle: Heal a friendly character 4 health.
Cost 4? Methinks you overestimate the power of heal effects. That is a 2 mana minion at most, and even then I would strictly play Earthen Ring Farseer over it. Seer is on par for body size and its ability is a battlecry which is significantly more predictably usable for you and harder for your opponent to play around than a deathrattle. I like the idea though. Maybe if it was a 4/4 or a 2/6 for 4?

Hearthstone is a math game. If you think it's overpowered, do the math, compare it to other similar cards, and then if it doesn't all add up, complain about it being overpowered.

Maybe a deathrattle that activates one of your secrets (even if it is your turn), selecting a random enemy minion if applicable. It would have some really nice combos with Tundra Rhino. The randomness, specificness of the card (combined with it being a class specific and only a deathrattle) would warrant giving it a standard vanilla beast body.
I'm seeing a lot of removal and whatnot that specifically targets guys with deathrattle. I don't like this. I don't think Blizzard will do anything like this. It's a set that's based around deathrattle and having deathrattle minions and the interplay and interaction that can happen. Making cards that make it harder and, as with many cards I see here, strictly bad to play deathrattle is counterintuitive and would be a bad move on Blizzard's part. I'm thinking stuff more like Baron Rivendare, stuff that buffs your own deathrattles and creates more opportunities for strategy. Not more opportunities for board wipe. Imagine if Hunter actually had the proposed cleansing shot. Cairne becomes unplayable in a meta with any hunters. I mean, there are some cool ideas being shot around here, but I think some of these cards are a leap in the wrong direction. There are already cards that hard counter certain decks, most notably Flare which invalidates the existence of secrets Mage and makes the meta more bland.
Maybe a card similar to Unbound Elemental that gets +1/+1 for each deathrattle that triggers? I also like the corpsehauler idea.

With regard to Corpsehauler, I can see this fitting into Priest playstyle but I feel like they have so much heal and mostly cards geared towards control that Blizzard surely would try and help them to fulfill a different archetype.

Ah, read the fine print though - cleansing shot can only kill minions with deathrattle.
I think Blizzard will make cards that negate the Deathrattle effects they are adding in Naxx. Overall I think the Deathrattles will be positive but if there is no counter then there may not be balance. I'm not saying that Cleansing Shot is exactly what Blizzard may do but they will for sure have negatives like with Dancing Swords and The Beast.

I agree, but I think that they'll wait until the expansion after Naxx to do it in any significant way.

Yeah, but this would proc when your opponent's deathrattle triggers. Although it's probably too similar to undertaker for Blizz to implement it.

Which Cairne has. That's the only reason anyone plays Cairne. I was mostly just using that as an example of why I don't think Blizzard will try to both ramp up the number of deathrattle minions run and also hardcounter and even negate deathrattles in the same set.

The exact numbers (stats/cost/damage) are probably not well balanced, it's just about the general idea. And sorry for any mistakes, my English is not the best.
I really want a plague dog from Gluth for Hunters and an early game minion for Priests and I wanted a spell for Warlocks that doesn't feel as suicidal as most of the Warlock cards, haha :-)
I lreally ike the idea of the Plague Dog. Good synergy with low cost Beasts and Scavenging Hyena. Although there aren't many Beasts you could sacrifice for the Deathrattle effect (Savannah Highmane is way too good to sacrifice). But maybe one of the neutral minions from Naxx is a Beast, too! I wouldn't be surprised if we see a neutral Beast next to the Hunter card.
But I think Plague Dog is too expensive. Keep in mind that most of the time you have to sacrifice an own minion. Let it be a 1 mana Beasts, that's still two cards and 5 mana for a 5/6 - not really good. Maybe 2 mana 2/2 or 2/3 or 3 mana 2/4.

I like these cards a lot, firstly I agree with senti_rk that the Plague Dog may be too costly.
I like the priest card but think maybe it should be a 2/3, possibly a 3/2.
I think the warlock card is probably my favorite, however, I do not know WoW lore and don't know if healing fits with a warlock or not...I guess they do have Drain Life and Sacrificial Pact so it must fit (I guess, haha).
Not sure if that's too strong or not but I don't think there will be an effect that acts on non-beasts. I don't know, just seems kinda odd and I definitely do't think that fits lore-wise. I don't think there is AoE that is selective to minion type.

Yes, I understood the subtle difference, we are on the same page just thinking that it is too similar for Blizzard to implement.

If you think about it, the Warlock minion was quite obvious: giving Warlock an option to avoid negative Battlecries.
So what are major weaknesses of Hunter and Priest?
I'll start with Hunter: Solid early game minions. Early removal against swarm since the nerf of Unleash the Hounds.
So this would be my guess on the "Plague Hound": 2 mana 2/3 (or 2/2). Deathrattle: Deal 1 damage to ALL non-Beast minions. Too strong?
