If used in the right situation, and potentially in conjunction with Build-a-Beast, this card can provide board clearing and healing. The summoned minions can attack enemy minions, friendly minions, and even the host minion that summoned them. As noted, however they cannot be used to attack heroes.

The idea for this card is that it starts off as a sub-par minion, but if it's able to survive
Overkilling
a minion, the Wolpertinger transforms and becomes more powerful. This makes it an effective answer to early game 1/1 minions! Buffing this minion can help activate the Overkill effect, but it'll lose those buffs upon transforming, so choose wisely.
Since it pretty much transforms into an

Big stats with low mana cost. Helps slow early game aggression. High risk card as your opponents can use it to restore big threat low health minions or trigger powerful deathrattles. Only restores overkilled minions, so attacking the enemy hero is safe.
If you use a card with overkill, and you deal exactly enough damage to kill the minion, the overkill effect happens. Not Every overkill effect, and not triggered by cards without overkill. Sorry I couldn't get the art, but this is just my guess.

I'm Nate and I enjoy writing. I got kicked off of my school newspaper so I figured I'd bring my passion to my favorite game.
