The lack of a strong turn 4 beast is also a problem in my Callpet tempo/midrange hunter. I think it is a weak spot in beast on purpose. Snapjaw isn't bad but not good for tempo. So Maybe a neutral will be released, But it might be druid specific so that hunter still has that weakspot.
I'm hoping for a 4-drop neutral beast so that more new deck archetypes become viable for both Hunter and Druid.
A little bit sad both Druid of the Fang and Druid of the Claw are 5 Mana drops. Luckily Druid can Innervate/Coin the Druid of the Claw one or two turns early. Turn 3: Innervate -> Druid of the Claw
Turn 4: Yeti or something else
Turn 5: Druid of the Fang (In case the DotC survived) sounds quite nice, though!
And even if he gets BGH'd .. that probably is a good thing!
Druid doesn't really have many 6 drops that are worth using on turn 6 however, so a Claw + Fang back to back isn't too unreasonable.
This is starting to look a whole lot better isn't it? I still don't know if it's good enough for a spot, but if we get a good 4-mana Beast then I can definitely see it being run.
The Druid of the fang gets turned into a 7/7, not the beast, or else the wording would be different.
Any good hard-to-kill 4-drop beasts that this synergizes with?
I hope there's another one not spoiled yet.
Edit: I suppose you could let Jungle Panther sit for a turn...
Bad players whine.
Good players adapt.
Oasis Snapjaw is the only 4 mana beast, and it is hard to kill.
Oh, sorry, I misunderstood the card, then it's a bad card.

Good old Ben Brode confirmed the Druid of the Claw change:

Rofl, if both are played on turn 5, this kills Bolvar Fordragon and survives 99% of the time.
This card feels a bit better now that we know Druid of the Claw transforms into a beast.
Also, Cobra!
Druid of the Claw + Fang meta incoming.
This will be great with Ironbeak Owl

Maybe mark of the wild and mark of nature should turn the buffed creature into a beast too.
Haunted Creeper, whilst not a Druid card, is typically ran too.

Its beautiful :D
Aww its a tiny little 7/7 snake.
Thanks FOO(The Banner God)!
Snakes, it has to be snakes!
OOOH I love you BLizz. Love Indiana Jones and the 2nd homage ingame now.
